Large and cozy,

The room had a fireplace. The kitchenette was nice. plenty of storage. the jetted tub.

I picked this location since my family and I booked tickets for Heavenly. The location is about the only good thing I’d say about this place, very close to restaurants, stores, etc.

When we first arrived which was pretty late (11pm), we got to our rooms which was an easy process. In my room we microwaved some food, 1 minute later the power goes out. I contact the staff and let them know, after about 30 mins of trying to figure it out they told me my power couldn’t be turned on since the switch is in another room. Other guests were staying in that room and it was late so I figured they were asleep. Then, in my cousins room their sink was clogged and didn’t drain at all. I asked to be moved to different rooms which they accommodated. At this point we wanted to shower and go to bed, but there wasn’t any hot water!! I contacted the staff and let them know, but there isn’t any staff on site to “turn it on.” Why wouldn’t the hot water be turned on when guests are staying there? The next morning it still wasn’t on, we contacted the staff again and went for breakfast until it turned on about 1.5hrs later (the next day @10am). I’m just very upset I wasn’t compensated in some way, especially since so many things happened during our short 2 night stay..

A good place to stay in Tahoe,very convenient, great communication.

The rooms are beautiful and so convenient , communication is excellent.Location is so convenient and easy to find, check-in was seamless.

Bed was a little too firm and uncomfortable, our bathroom handle was wiggly and hard to use.. The main door was moving a lot, at some point it sounded like somebody was trying to unlock it or shake it from outside.

Cute clean boutique hotel within walking distance to so many places!

The Kitchenette was very convenient and the bed was one of the best mattress’s we’ve slept on. We also loved the fireplace in the room. And the whole room was exceptionally clean.

The floors are thin so I wouldn’t stay on the first floor again. Our neighbors above us walked all night but this is not the hotels fault they were just inconsiderate

Fantastic stay in the secluded heart of the best part of SLT

Terrific Location just off the Stateline area. Walking distance to the lakefront, Heavenly Village, casinos and all the shops and restaurants. Spacious rooms, modern amenities. Love the fireplace ski lodge vibes.

Ground floor rooms are the way to go. Like many hotels in Tahoe, the Jeffrey is a "no Front Desk" type hotel. You communicate for check in, any issues, check out etc via text. The staff was always available and always very helpful but lacking a physical staff presence in the lobby was wierd.

The room was clean, roomy and comfortable. I liked the bed and bathroom. The location was great as well - .5 miles from Heavenly.

The number of messages the hotel sent prior to check in - in 5 days I got more than 15 messages regarding the stay - most of them redundant.

The bed was very comfortable. Room was especially clean. The seating area in the little kitchenette was pleasant. It was especially nice to have a toaster. The location off a major street made for total quiet. The outdoor rooftop deck.

It was very clean, nicely decorated and convenient. Solid shower. Comfy bed on the firm side which I like. The touch sensor night lamp was a great touch. They have a coffee machine but an electric water kettle is needed. Having at least one staff there would feel safer.

Decent Hotel With Some Minor Issues

Modernized hotel with super convenient parking right in front of the room.

The shower in our room was built incorrectly. It slopes down and away from the shower. Result: There was no way to avoid a flooded bathroom after every shower. The bathroom light was super crazy bright and on a motion sensor that you could trigger by turning around in bed and that you could not turn off. Result: woke up multiple times being blinded by the light.

Dirty and uncomfy

Location

A ton of fake reviews. Huge red flag was the extremely dirty bedsheets and a stained pillow case that hadn’t been washed (see photos). They brought us new sheets and didn’t even change them for us, just handed us the sheets to make the bed. More cons: - uncomfy bed and little air circulation made it hard to sleep and breathe - our room and many others have weak french doors that don’t feel secure Pros: - good location Note to management. We checked in on August 13th. So whoever made the beds ahead of our stay didn’t do their job.

A great place to stay with a few compromises

The room is perfectly clean and has everything for a few nights stay. Bathroom is well equipped and everything worked perfectly. All the communication with hotel staff is nice and polite, there is no physical in person contact needed whatsoever which can be a great advantage for some.

Some rooms doesn't have windows and room doors doesn't look secure. The overall feeling from safety and noise perspective is more like a tent, which could be a problem for some people who look more hotel-like experience. There was no noisy neighbors, but you can easily hear how a person brushing their teeth in the neighboring room. Another thing to remember - it's mentioned an access to the beach, but you still need to pay for a pass for it with a discount, which was not expected as beach access is mentioned as part of hotel amenities.

Place remodeling ruined our stay in this place

Property was nice and clean, good location.

We had to wake up at 7:00am both days of our stay because of the very loud noises people were making on the next door unit, they were remodeling some of the units and started working at 7:00 am, it sounded like they were installing flooring because they were using hammers and wood cutting machines. I’m sure the people downstairs were not happy either.

Check in at 4 and extra pay if check out after 10. Towels look very old and had holes and the floor mat was sprinkled with probably bleach spots. Also the towel holder fell off the wall. And if you stay at the first floor, you can hear very loud the people above you.

Amazing

I had an excellent stay at The Jeffrey Hotel. During my trip to South Lake Tahoe, I stayed at several hotels, and this one was by far the best. The check-in process was super convenient—there’s no front desk, and they send you a code to access your room, which made everything very easy. The room was spacious, the bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. There was also a kitchenette with all the essentials to prepare breakfast (though an oven would have been a nice addition). I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
