Everything was fine except the loud guest next door.

The room was clean.

The guests next door were extremely loud, my wife and I couldn’t sleep. They played loud music, slammed doors, talked loud and stomped their feet.

The stay was nice.

The shower and jacuzzi were great!

They have a long list of things they can charge you for--stains on the sheets, carpets, and even their keys. Instead of giving you the reusable keys that can be easily replaced, they give you a fob that costs $75 to replace. They seem to invent reasons to charge you for something.

The unexpected changes that were made to the hotel. This wasn’t the Same Secrets Hotel I remember 10 years ago. It was my Girlfriend’s birthday and was disappointed .

To begin with, the room was extremely outdated and pretty small and honestly it looked nothing like the photos displayed. Additionally the shower water was barely warm; I had to wait a while just to get it somewhat warm. The hot tub was also leaking, this stay was extremely disappointing I really thought this would be a romance getaway but sadly I got the opposite.

Very noisy loud hotel

Close to mid town

It's absolutely super loud at this hotel. You hear everything every room is doing. We could hear the water rushing to own the walls from the room above us soooo loud it was terrible. Kept us up all night. It was a spa tub so for 30 minutes you hear jets then water drain , the shower and toilet, could hear them as well. The loudest hotel i have ever been to.

Great in-room jacuzzi, simple and comfortable property.

The reason we like this property is for their in-room spa/jacuzzi! Pay a little more and get this kind of room, as after a day of walking or skiing it makes a big difference. The king bed was very comfortable and it's somewhat walking distance to the Heavenly village (10-15 min walk). Having an electric fireplace adds a touch of cozy too. The check in was pretty smooth, same for checking out.

I wish they had a glass door in the shower area as it's open in one end and in the winter can get cold while taking a shower. Also, they could've an opening from the jacuzzi to the shower as the extra foam would go there and not in the room. But those are small details, overall this property is great for what you pay!

We stayed in worse but for South Lake Tahoe, it was pretty bad.

Not much.

I didn’t like that the pictures show an amazing romantic getaway but, you get in the room and the furniture is scratched up, the fireplace was crooked and janky. There was still bubbles in the bathtub and toilet. The fridge was dirty and the room I booked was supposed to have a patio but we did not.

Worth it if the price is right and you’re going for a short stay.

Love that all the rooms I’ve staid in have jacuzzi bathtubs. So much fun if in any way. Also it is only a couple blocks from all the fun. We did get help with getting a whole new microwave as the room we stayed in had one. However, it was not working.

I have staid here many times when the price is right. I would nit recommend if your looking for a more “bougie” like stay. I never interacted with staff much beside the time moment. Don’t see them much. The staff behind the desk just check you in with a flat effect and in your way.

Overall, it was pretty nice.

Bed was nice and the tub was nice. The room was a little dated but it was clean.

The only real issue we had is the shower had no hot water, even in the morning when the tub hadn't been used (we thought in the evening maybe it didn't heat up because we had used all the hot water in the tub). We let the water run and run and it never got hot, even though it was turned all the way up it was only ever barely lukewarm. The walls are thin so we could hear other people pretty loudly at times, but everyone around us was considerate and nobody was loud really early or super late at night so for us it wasn't really an issue.

Secrets Inn

I liked the hot-tub and the soft blanket on the bed was so nice, it was so surprising to see an actual blanket and not sheets, it was so comfy. We had to check out super late (6pm) and past the checkout extension (1pm) so we had to buy another night but since we checked out early, the guy gave us a discount, he was very nice and super helpful with the problems we had with the key FOB a few times. Fixed instantly! I totally recommend going here and I would definitely go here again!

The shower temperature is very odd to control, it seems to have a mind of it's own, either very hot or very cold. The lighting in the bathroom is a bit awkward for applying makeup, but useable!

I loved that the property was close to heavenly village and other local businesses/ restaurants. We could walk to many of the places that we wanted to go to and eat at.

The flooring in the room was falling apart and uplifting. The bed was hard as a rock and not comfortable.

Location was great - Accessible to all Tahoe had to offer. Safe walk - even at night. Great couples romantic get-away spot. Friendly staff. Easy check in & out.

Decent room with good parking.

Comfortable enough bed with enough pillows. I booked the room to take advantage of the spa bathtub. THAT was delightful.

The A/C unit worked but was very loud, so much so I preferred to have the windows open. Shower head didn't adjust from its wide steam, that made it difficult to rinse my hair

localisation, the bed was quite confortable, the size of the room was good.

Our room was on the ground floor. You could hear all the people taking their showers or walking. The noise of the pipes was horrible, the whole room was vibrating for hours. Very expensive for hearing all this noise!

Other than the bed being comfortable and the housekeeping staff, this place needs some maintenance.

Room was always hot and the ac would only cool the side of the bed that it was near. The location of the ac didn’t allow any air circulation. The bed blankets were stained. Housekeeping staff was great. In all….we would not return or recommend.

The bed was WORE OUT. The water pipes are LOUD - everybody running a sink, shower, bath, even just the toilet, ALL VERY LOUD all night.

I liked the location being within walking distance to downtown and the beach. The housekeeping was very nice and kept the rooms clean.

The property is advertised as an adult only location but both rooms across from mine had small children making noise all day . The mattress was extremely uncomfortable

Loved Lake Tahoe

I enjoyed location and comfort for a good price

Wouldn’t let me check in early although the place didn’t have many room s rented. Never had someone say no to checking in a bit early people drive hours. No bathroom to use had to ask he directed me to Starbucks and then they made me a purchase of coursee 4 dollar cake pop and I was able to use a restroom . If they don’t allow early check in maybe just consider a customer bathroom. No hospitality . But hey good price atmosphere and location
