This hotel needs some serious upgrades. I would not stay there again.

The convenience of the location. It is within walking distance to heavenly village.

The bed was horrible. Very hard. I had a terrible nights sleep and could not even sit in a chair because they were metal. The tv had a very dark picture and was very hard to see. We could not adjust it. The table and chairs in the room was similar to what you would find outside.

Decent stay

The location was great! Near restaurants and casinos. The beds were comfortable and neatly made. We requested extra towels and got them quickly and without issues. Check in and out was quick. Front staff was friendly. We left an item behind and front desk RJ and housekeeping staff were amazing in recovering and securing. RJ was also very helpful in helping us get our item shipped back home to us. Lifesaver indeed!

However, the room was not as clean as we wished. Underneath the beds was dirty to put it in nice words. The microwave was broken and so were a couple of the cabinet doors. The bathroom sink was not clean. The curtains were stained. The coffee was simply terrible. The bathroom door was damaged and the ac/heater unit was super loud.

Perfect, quiet stay with an excellent location.

We loved this property. It’s centrally located, within walking distance to everything we needed and if we wanted to adventure further everything was a quick 10-15 minute drive. The room was much bigger than we anticipated and we were so happy about the full sized fridge and microwave! There was plenty of parking and the staff here were super friendly. It was quiet, which was nice for a relaxing getaway.

Our only complaint was the water pressure for the shower was really low. As someone with long hair, it took forever to wash my hair.

A happy very comfortable base to explore beautiful lake El Dorado - and Lake Tahoe

The location is perfect and easy to access the charming town of Truckee and the surrounding countryside. The rooms are very comfortable, the bathrooms excellent and all is very clean. There is a sauna and a gym for the use of guests. The breakfast is delicious and the staff are very polite, cheerful and friendly. There is a large 'business room' with a big table for working at or even holding a meeting! Our small dog loved her stay and was made welcome.

We liked that they helped us with flowers. Very kind.

We were locked out of our room twice. Two day in a row. Finally had to crawl in the window. That’s inexcusable. Our fireplace almost caught fire, and was not given ANY warning. The shower wouldn’t drain. and we didn’t have a working tv. The water in the shower was hot and then cold. And then very hot again. Not relaxing AT ALL.

A pleasant experience

Clean, quiet, pleasant small mid-level hotel, room was perfect and comfortable. Hotel is convenient walking distance to restaurants and shopping in South Lake Tahoe. I would definitely stay here again if I return to the area. Got a good deal through booking.com.

It was very close to all the shops and harras casino, you could walk there if you dont mind walking like 10 minutes each way.

The Google maps heading private beach access was misleading to us. It's pay to access. One outlet didn't work, sink faucet was leaking but was fixed when they got the part. Flooring was uneven, and the hanging light above the center night stand is poorly positioned. I hit my head hard 4-5 times. I'm only 6 foot. Pretty normal height. Didn't notify us the room would be repaired during our stay. Obviously they don't need permission just a heads up.

If you are looking for a roof over your head and a bed to sleep in, that is close to everything, this is an okay place.

The location of the property was great. Close enough to the strip and the beach that we could walk anywhere we wanted to go. There was a full size fridge and freezer that worked great.

The photos online make the room look much bigger than it really was. The host was not rude but really did not seem very inviting. The shower leaked through the doors and the floor would get all wet. The space in the bathroom was very small. The slide lock on the door was backwards so if someone could get the door open enough to move the chain, they could get in. You could see the sun through the doors, meaning the seal was not great. So the room stayed hot. The AC worked but would only kick on for about 2 minutes at a time. No fans In The room to keep the air circulating. So when the AC turned off the room would instantly get hot again. The bed was a little hard for me. With the heat and the hard bed I did not sleep very well.

The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The kitchenette was nice for keeping food fresh and for preparing snacks. All in all, it was a pleasant experience.

Good experience

Heavenly inn is very close to restaurants, stores and entertainment. I was minutes to the lake, the area is nice. Easy to find. The room size is good, its like a mini suit, with small dinning table, kitchen without stove, but appliances like microwave and refrigerator. We forgot to bring cups and plates, but the suit provided with utensils and dish plates. I got everything I need it for my vacation.

The room was clean, however towels were little old and no longer white. My kids wanted to watch something on TV but the tv didnt have many options, and it wasn't a smart TV to connect to Netflix or other TV entertainments.

Overall , this building needs lots of attention to bring it to up to code.Cleaning,broken grabe bar in jetted tub,leaking tub on/off handles,loose handles.Shower door won't open easy,no handle and catchs on bottom.There is no one in the office after 10pm.mattress springs are shot,squeeks when set,up,toss and turns.
