Great host, great breakfast, good price, good location.

Loved the host, loved the breakfast, and the room + common area were well kept. We didn't spend too much time there, as we were out exploring a lot, but it was nice to come home to a comfy place that we trusted.

Doesn't quite have all the luxuries that a higher end hotel has (all sorts of lotions and such in the bathroom), but besides that we loved everything.

Warm and welcoming stay

We loved everything. The house is in a great location, right off the Wego busline and a 10 minute walk to the attractions near the falls. The house is just gorgeous, has so much history and love. We stayed on the top floor, a beautiful suite! You will adore the host. You’ll see what I mean!

The owner was very knowledgeable about the house, the area and other places of interest. One large breakfast table which meant you talked to all the other guests and the owner also joined in the conversation.

The bed had a slight roll into the middle but was still very comfortable.

It was good having our own bathroom and was very clean. The breakfast was great especially the crepe’s 😋

No biggy but. It would have been nice to have a tea and coffee station. So we could help ourself. Breakfast was at 8:30 but because we had to leave early on two days we missed out on breakfast. So to have toast that we could make our self would have been nice.

Our stay at Lion’s Head Bed and Breakfast was nothing short of exceptional. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, prepared with care and attention to detail. The house itself is a beautifully preserved historic gem, exquisitely decorated—staying here truly felt like stepping back in time. The location is perfect: close to all the main attractions, yet just far enough from the noise and bustle to enjoy peace and quiet in such a popular tourist destination. Helena, the gracious host, was wonderful—warm, welcoming, and full of excellent tips and insights for our trip. This place was the highlight of our vacation, and I would be delighted to return in the future. A rare treasure and a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Cosy BnB with fabulous breakfasts

We loved that the BnB was in a nice, cosy home that had so many stories to tell! Helena, the owner, was a great cook - the breakfasts were a real highlight (different every day!), and so were the conversations we had around the table. We stayed in the one-bedroom suite on the top floor and liked that it had a little fridge and microwave oven. The BnB is in a great location, about a 10min walk to the falls.

Great Niagara Falls getaway, best way to see the falls!

The location was perfect around 1/2 mile from the falls. I jogged there each morning and walked to the attractions. Don't miss the Power Station! Accommodations and breakfast were great and affordable especially enjoyed chatting with the host and the other guests during breakfast.

Exceptional stay in Niagara Falls within walking distance of everything!

The four of us had such a wonderful stay at Lion’s Head Bed & Breakfast. We stayed two nights to attend a concert at the OLG stage and everything was well within walking distance! Helena is such an amazing hostess, she made us feel so comfortable in her beautiful home. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast as well as the company and conversation was amazing! 100% recommend staying here if you are in the Niagara area.

A lovely choice to stay in Niagara Falls Canada

The Lions Head has been beautifully cared for and decorated in a lovely manner. Our unit was at the top of the house and the largest, decorated with a french flair. Lovely porch to sit on and close to the Falls. Parking is behind the house. Breakfast is at 9a and served in the home's dining room.

It has been so hot that the a/c in the attic suite had a hard time keeping up. Also, there is only a bath with wand as the ceiling would not accomodate a shower. But a beautiful bath! I would have enjoyed a bigger breakfast with more choices on the table as opposed to the pre-plated breakfast served. While the crepes were luscious, I don't eat eggs(allergy) and that was served the second morning. More choices, and simply more food would have been appreciated to fuel up for a long tourist day.

The gourmet breakfast was delicious. My compliments to the Chef. Helena is a very warm and welcoming host. A mine of information about the area. Location is excellent. A 10 min walk (for a fit person, I just took it steady) to Rainbow Bridge. I walked over the bridge to the US. You will need a passport and an ESTA (visa) to cross into the US and to return. A very special stay in a gorgous house and location. Thank you Helena.

Wir haben 3 Nächte im Queen Zimmer übernachtet. Das Haus ist wunderschön und sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt, ruhig gelegen und doch nicht weit von den Niagara Falls und allen Aktivitäten. Am Besten Auto stehen lassen und zu Fuß unterwegs sein. Es hat genügend Parkplätze (kostenlos) auf dem Grundstück. Wir können uns nur den vorangehenden Bewertungen anschließen. Wir haben im Queen Zimmer übernachtet. Dieses Zimmer ist im Untergeschoß und über eine Seitentür erreichbar. Das Zimmer ist sehr stilvoll mt kleinem Sofa, Tisch und Sideboard ausgestattet. Das Badezimmer/WC mit einer großen Dusche und Waschtisch für eine Person. Es fehlte nur eine Ablagemöglichkeit/Aufbewahrung für den Inhalt unserer zwei Reisekoffer z.B. zusätzlicher Schrank. Helena ist eine sehr gute Gastegeberin. Sie gibt viele Insider Tipps und ihr täglich wechselndes "frisch zubereitetes Frühstück" ist hervorragend. Vielen Dank! Die Unterkunft ist absolut zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank Helena!
