Blue Gables Bed and Breakfast

What a welcoming environment! Our accomodations were beautiful. My breakfast was delicious and made with care due to my food allergies. The quiet, tree lined street was steps from the river and a Wego bus stop. It was an easy 25 minute walk to town.

The property was eclectic and clean. Karen was very good with communication and the breakfast she made was excellent. Location was perfect, close enough to the falls but outside of the commercial area. We slept very well in the quiet large room

Very friendly and attentive communication even before arrival; a beautifully furnished room; a comfortable mattress; convenient on‑site parking; and thoughtful consideration of dietary constraints during the delicious breakfast.

Parking in the driveway was a bit tight, but still easy enough to manage. That’s really the only minor point I can think of.

The owner was friendly and there were a lot of snacks and beverages available throughout the stay.

The place needs some additional cleaning. There was a fair amount of dust in the room I stayed in. The walls are very thin making it very challenging to get sleep if you are a light sleeper. The owner should consider investing in additional towels and washcloths based on the needs of a variety of guests. It would be great to post the menu for the next day up so the guests can determine if they want to eat the breakfast.
