Blue Gables Bed and Breakfast

Lovely old property in an excellent location and breakfast was plentiful with a variety of delicious food.

The place is clean. The interior of the house is designed in a vintage style. Very friendly host, Karen, who is making a delicious breakfast for you.

Unfortunately, there are a few things I didn't like. First, the smell inside the house is not very pleasant, and there are many air fresheners around, probably to hide it, and I can understand that, the house is old. Second, the bed in our room was very creaky and shaky. Third, the HVAC is so loud that I couldn't turn it on at night. Even with the earplugs, I couldn't hear it very loud.

Its a nice cozy place. Easy walk to falls if you feel like it if not the bus stop is close by Even if you have a car we would suggest using the bus! Its much easier almost like a hop in hop out. $20 for 48 hours.

There was nothing I didnt like. Its not a high end hotel and we didnt expect room service or room every day room cleaning. But whatever we wanted was provided.

The owner was friendly and there were a lot of snacks and beverages available throughout the stay.

The place needs some additional cleaning. There was a fair amount of dust in the room I stayed in. The walls are very thin making it very challenging to get sleep if you are a light sleeper. The owner should consider investing in additional towels and washcloths based on the needs of a variety of guests. It would be great to post the menu for the next day up so the guests can determine if they want to eat the breakfast.
