The location is perfect for walking around Chicago. The lobby is exquisite and antique staff was very very friendly.
Because the hotel is old, the rooms are small and there’s a lot of upkeep that’s not being done. Shades were broke on the window, bathroom faucet ran constant, and all the carpets and floors were showing their age.

The ceiling in the main area was lovely.
Several areas the trim was chipped in the bedroom and in the bathroom, so it just looked tired. Outlet on the fireplace did not work.

The room was extremely small, the bathroom extremely small and old and not very clean.
