You can't beat the location and the all of the staff was really friendly and helpful

The beds were very uncomfortable especially the pillows. The bathroom, while very clean, smelled musty There wasn't anywhere to eat in the room There was a small table but no chairs

I was scammed out of my room

Worst experience ever. Was told by the front desk I can check out a day earlier just to get a call the next day telling me the front desk lady didn’t have the authority to approve that and was charged! Even though I already checked out. Scam!

Perfectly located hotel

This hotel is perfectly located beside the Chicago river

I booked a room for 2 adults and a child with breakfast included, on booking.com. When I was checking in to the hotel, I was told that we would have to pay extra if my son went for breakfast! In all the hotels we stayed in in the Chicago area, this was never the case.. when we were booking and paid extra to have breakfast included, it meant breakfast for each person we booked for! Very disappointing!

Location is amazing though street level noise is irritating.

Some of the lifts were out of order leading to long queues and on one occasion having to join others (about 50 guests) walking down an escape tower to get to ground floor. When staff alerted they were nonchalant.

Great Stay

Everyone was Friendly and professional. The location is Great! We were there for our anniversary, so the front desk sent us a bottle of sparkling wine. It was a very nice touch to make our stay feel special.

Our GPS took us to the parking garage that's underground at first, but we missed where to turn into the area. So we put the address back in to try to go back around, but it kept taking us above ground with no way to the garage. We figured out how to get back down there, but if there was some kind of specific address for the garage for people that aren't familiar with the city, it would be helpful.

Not alot

I noticed my room had a colony of mosquitoes as I walked in, and I had to request that they be removed. A friend of mine recommended this hotel because I prefer to stay at establishments like the Venetian Hotel. This hotel only charges what they do because they are on the magnificent mile. I'm not booking here again! It was also noticeable that the sheets were never changed from the previous guests! The pillows did not smell fresh!

Absolutely perfect stay!

This hotel is our go to in Chicago for years and this time was absolutely perfect! We love the pool and the hotel views and the service was just outstanding; from front desk to house keeping and engineer (as we had a bit of trouble with one of our electrical adapters ☺️) all staff was amazing and made us felt at home!

Disappointing and would not stay there again

Room was new and not working properly. Shower design was poor and large amounts of water always poured onto the floor. The sink water pressure was low and the AV / heating system was so noisy it had to be turned off.

The breakfast was narrow in choice and repetitive on a daily basis and over-priced. Spent significant time waiting for the elevators especially during peak hours.

Bathroom older. Staff ok but not as friendly as they used to be. The buffet used to be special now it’s close to every other hotel buffet, including runny eggs and uninspired choices. Totally disappointed.

Most of the time people were crowded at the elevator and you had to wait a while to take the elevator. I also didn't like that there was no safety deposit box in my room

Location is fantastic - on the Magnificent Mile, walking distance to everything, easy to get all over the city. Great dining all around as well as a robust grocery store around the corner. Spacious rooms, and the pool and gym are fantastic.

Sufficient hotel but make sure they don’t charge your card for anything you didn’t use

Hotel was sufficient however i was charged for something i didn’t use. When i asked for a refund, the agreed and said that they processed it however they did not. Now the hotel is not returning my emails and messages.
