It is a fancy and uptown hotel. Great location, right on the magnificent mile, within walking distance (~8 min) of two Red line CTA stations. We like to walk, and everything is really within a walking distance of 20-25 minutes - Riverwalk, Millennium Park! The room itself was spacious, nice bathroom, not modern, but didn't look dated. The area was quite safe to walk about after dark.
If you are driving to the hotel, I'd recommend finding overnight parking spots nearby. The room felt a little dark. There wasn't a view to write about really either. Also, at the price, simple breakfast, at least, should be included. But again, location!

Great location, comfortable bed and pillows, great water pressure and a pretty hotel overall.
The room could have been cleaner and better maintained. The towel bar was loose and falling off the wall, and there were numerous scuffs throughout the room. Updating the space, especially replacing the carpet, would greatly improve the overall experience.
