Fantastic!

The location was amazing. My whole party felt like we were in the middle of everything. We walked to The Art Institute of Chicago, Millennium Park (with the Bean), and the river. We were on the 5th floor which was not really high, but when I booked it did tell me that was the room I was booking. The staff from the front desk to the doormen were so friendly. The hotel was very clean and consistent. I've been to hotels in big cities where the lobby does not match the vibe or cleanliness of the room. The Omni completely exceeded all of our expectations. I loved the suite. I was traveling with two other adults and we had enough room for all of our stuff.

There really was not a whole lot I did not like. While the room was nicely renovated, some of the fixtures in the bathroom seemed old.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't have anywhere to go for Christmas and decided to visit Chicago. On Christmas morning I woke up to a Christmas stocking hanging on my door, it made my day.

Very good hotel in the heart of downtown Chicago, comfortable, clean, and quiet.

The room was as advertised. The hotel was clean throughout. The hotel was quiet in the evening and early morning.

We found the bedroom a little tight without much room around the beds to move. The sliding door between the bedroom and bathroom was not on its rails and was very loud when opened or shut.

Worn sheets, faded fabrics, stale air - def not 4 star, and would have been good for $200 for a night, but not $400 which it actually cost after taxes etc. I was surprised this is what an omni hotel is like, and will avoid omni at all costs in the future.

Great location! Staff were very friendly, it’s very secure, the room was nice enough, very good price

The room was fine, but very dated. Items were broken, paint was peeling, a curtain rod was basically ripped from the wall, etc. The location and security of the hotel was fantastic, and the price was very low for this kind of hotel in the area, so I think they priced it knowing the rooms need upgrading. It really didn’t impact the stay so I would stay here again for sure.

Had no running water for hours. Was told I was going to be credited back money for the inconvenience and then later told me they couldn’t because I booked through a 3rd party. Had 4 kids in a hotel room after traveling all day with no water.

Perfect getaway

Location was key for us. Parked in garage directly across street and never moved it until we checked out. Took trains everywhere. Plenty to do all within distance. Hotel was very nice and staff was excellent.

“The hotel feels a bit gloomy and does not really give the impression of a proper hotel since the it only starts from the third floor of the building . The public areas are not very inviting, and the rooms feel somewhat outdated. In addition, there is no kettle in the room, only a coffee machine.”

It was an amazing trip

We booked the Omni Chicago because it was walking distance to almost everything downtown Chicago. The hotel was beautiful, clean, roomy. I love the city view from our room.The staff (from the valet to the front desk to the room service) was friendly and helpful.

Parking was expensive. Valet is convenient but costs $75 a day. Public parking is blocks away from hotel and costs $50 a day. Traffic is congested. It takes 30-40mins to drive 5miles. But it is to be expected since it is a popular tourist site and no fault to the hotel.

Wonderful Service

Stayed at Omni for my birthday weekend. Great location, well appointed rooms (ours had an AMAZING view), but it was the staff that really made the entire experience exceptional. FD staff member Omar went above and beyond to make our stay extra magical. Any time we passed the front desk, Nate and/or Omar warmly greeted us and asked how our stay was going. I appreciated the warm and genuine service.

Great times amazing food even more amazing staff.

It was very clean very fancy everyone was super friendly and more than helpful! We had issues with valet because of their new system but the staff was there to help as much as possible and got the situation resolved. Amazing food at the hotel restaurant with the best breakfast i have ever had.

Only thing was the location of the main entrance was difficult to get to because of the city being so busy.
