It's a nice place to stay. Just keep an eye out for extra expenses.

Breakfast was good. My biggest issue was that when reserving the room through Booking.com, it was positioned as an option to select "Good Breakfast Included" for an additional $120.00 (2 people for 2 days) or not. I paid extra for the breakfast only to find out the next morning that breakfast is complimentary and included in normal rates. I didn't need to pay extra for it yet nobody onsite or over email was interested in rectifying. Later after my stay, I went on the site out of curiosity and they've removed that option so it's now marked as included. I'm glad they corrected it, but bummed I paid an extra $120.00 for something that was supposed to be complimentary. I just encourage other potential guests to pay attention to that.

Great hotel

Staff is very kind, rooms are comfortable and large, with great view. food is ok at breakfast, would have been nicer if it had more vegetables, or fresh omelettes and not scrambled eggs.

Rooms tend to get cold, seems like heating doesn’t warm well during the day. Also It can get noisy at night from the police / ambulance passing by in the main street

Cute hotel, prepare to be hungry

The room was spacious and the location is very central. The staff was super friendly and responded fast to our requests (we needed hair shampoo, since we only had body wash and conditioner in our shower)

The valet was unavailable and we couldn't park right at the hotel. They say they serve breakfast until 10, but when we got there around 09:30 most things were empty and nobody was refilling them.

Perfect location and convenient for family traveling with small kids.

They let us do early check in which was so nice traveling with young kids. Breakfast was excellent and the staffs were professional and kind. Kids loved the stuffed animal toys they gave during check in. They also hold our luggage kindly. The location is perfect being on the main avenue of where we wanted to visit. We were so happy with our staying and we will definitely be coming back!

AVOID THIS HOTEL

Avoid this hotel. Stayed from October 15 to 18 for a total of $1,300. The hotel charged me twice — once when I prepaid before arrival, and again under the pretext of a “pre-authorization.” As a result, my credit card was blocked while abroad. I called, left voicemails, and sent messages — no response, no assistance. A week later, I was informed, in the coldest tone, that I had been refunded (by Booking.com, not the hotel). No apology, no explanation. Such conduct may violate the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act (815 ILCS 505/2), which prohibits deceptive or unfair business practices. Completely unprofessional and unreliable establishment !strongly not recommended.

Everything was perfect other than hoping for full window view

Everything was exceptional; however, I wish the booking details had been more specific about the city view type. I originally booked a city view hoping for floor-to-ceiling windows, but I ended up with a small window and was told it was first come, first served.

Nice hotel in a central location, but something could be better.

The room was very nice and wide and with a kitchen corner very comfortable. The view was from the big windows was nice.

Breakfast time is too tight. It ends at 9.30 straight. For people in vacation, this is far too early. Breakfast offer is every day almost the same. There is no room service for food and beverage. The rooms are cleaned every day but mostly in the late afternoon.

Luxurious stay and worth the value for your money.

Location near Magnificent Mile, downtown, distinct restaurants, and shops, beach, and fun activities. The kitchenette in the hotel rooms is an excellent plus, and the size of the room and bathroom are spacious and modern.

Would be a plus if there was spa or massage recommendations nearby!

Excellent hotel, aside from the external noise

Very comfortable, clean, and modern facilities. The hotel is very well located.

The hotel is located very close to a hospital, and the sound of ambulances and fire truck sirens is frequent both day and night. Unfortunately, the hotel’s sound insulation is not adequate to block the noise, and we were woken up several times during the night.

Super convenient and clean as tourists staying for 4 days

We loved the location! There was a 7-eleven, Trader Joe’s, CVS, and shopping super close to us which we enjoyed very much. The staff were super friendly and welcoming from beginning to end, couldn’t have asked for better. I did a lot of research beforehand on where we wanted to stay and cleanliness and reviews were a big deciding factor. It was super clean, loved the soft sheets, and modern layout of the room and hotel. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

Excellent Stay at Residence Inn Marriott – Mag Mile, Chicago

We had a fantastic stay at the Mag Mile Residence Inn. The room was exceptionally spacious, spotless, and very comfortable – perfect for our family trip. The small kitchen was impressively well-equipped, which was especially helpful as we were traveling with a baby. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was large and clean. The hotel also has a stylish and welcoming lobby, which was a great space to relax and spend time with family who were in town for a wedding. The gym was another highlight – well-equipped with quality machines and free weights. And the location couldn’t have been better: just steps from the Magnificent Mile and a short walk from the river and many of Chicago’s top attractions. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for space, comfort, and convenience in the heart of the city.

Location news great, rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was wonderful! We had two rooms that were adjoining, so our 3 children had their own room and so did we, but we had privacy. Very nice stay! We would stay again!

Our box spring was very loud, even just getting up and down from the bed or rolling over. My kids bed were fine though so I believe it was circumstantial to our room (1004). We actually ended up moving our mattress to the floor.

Terrible noise destroyed stay

Extremely loud construction noise within the property started from 8am. It was impossible to sleep, think properly or speak to anyone on a phone. I can’t imagine taking a business meeting in my hotel room with such loud noise. Simply terrible value for money.

We booked our room for for 4 nights and never got bored or tired of it

I liked everything about this place. The staff were kind and helpful. The hotel was clean, quiet located half a blocks from Magnificent mills. A beautiful street with wide sidewalks full greens and flowers, attractions, restaurants, coffee shops and fun places for every age. It’s five minutes walk to Zara, Neiman Marcus, Nike and all the other designers brands. We also enjoyed river cruising in Chicago. The weather was great but we still needed to take something warm with us for the cool breeze. The rooms are equipped with glass top stove, dishwasher, fridge, coffee maker and dishes. The only thing that missing is keeping couple of bottle waters in the room.
