Amber's York Hideaway, Free Parking, Walk to City

Amazing location to city centre and free parking was brilliant :) Really close to Lidl and Morrisons for food supplies. Clean and lots of supplies such as toilet roll, kitchen roll, clean towels, kitchen utensils. Host brilliant at keeping in touch and really accommodating helping with early check in and late check out. Would stay again and recommend for anyone wanting digs close to York centre.

Cant really fault property but a big issue was WiFi/Internet issues - WiFi didnt work for most of stay, kept freezing and both husband and I struggled to set up a hotspot due to very poor signal. TV couldnt connect to streaming services and also kept freezing. This was difficult with a gaming obsessed child! However, host Scott was amazing keeping in touch and tried to help us as best he could, informing us he would get this sorted for future snd it hadn't happened before so we were probably just unlucky! Wouldn't affect us staying again if internet is sorted as communication was top notch and everything else brilliant :)

Well presented, lots of great touches, impressively clean. Dishwashing items included, some tea and coffee. Communication pack from vendor is great - take time to read the recommendations.

Mattresses a little soft for my liking, but that’s personal preference, otherwise it was fab.

It had everything we needed and was a 10 min walk into town. The flat was clean and well kept. Beds were comfortable and lots of space.

A few bedside lamps would be a lovely addition.
