Dog friendly, free on street parking, good wifi, comfy beds, garden, handy to local shops and the nearby woods and a 20 minute walk in to York centre. Host accommodated an early arrival and provided tea and coffee.

The house was very clean as was bedding, towels etc. however we couldn't use the oven as it badly needed cleaned. Host made aware for next guest. The stairs have been mentioned by most and would definitely pose a problem for anyone with mobility issues, difficult to take a suitcase up and down.

The house was very good, and the location was very good for access into the city centre.

Parking was a bit of a problem as the street was very narrow with lots of parked vehicles.
