Corner Lodge Bishophill York - FREE PARKING

Apartment was very tastefully furnished with quality items. Coffee, tea, washing machine and dishwashing detergents were generously provided with even fresh milk in fridge on arrival. There were portable fans in each room which was a godsend in the hot days that we encountered. Apartment was in a quiet residential street with very little vehicle traffic. We rented a car for a few days and could park it safely on the premises, the rest of the time we walked to all the attractions easily. Food shops and restaurants were in walking distance. The en-suite (while small) main bathroom and a separate toilet on the ground floor worked well for 4 people. There were plenty of windows that we could open up and get good cross ventilation. Good efficient washing machine.

The master bed was not very comfortable it slopped to each side. The room was a bit tight with the little lounge chair in it and the en-suite was very tight and awkward with the small white drawer cabinet. The large timber fish in the main bathroom took up too much space and we ended up putting it in the passage.

Location was excellent. The property was lovely, spacious and very well presented. The property also had a vital parking space. The host was also in regular contact and offered helped on arrival

There was nothing negative

Fantastic location. Beautiful property. Brilliant amenities. Very clean and well looked after. Loved the little sign to say 'Shoes off please'! Nice touch to leave milk in the fridge and provide tea and coffee.

Only a very small thing. Would suggest to have more than one key. We travelled as four adults and weren't together all the time so an extra key would have been very useful.
