It is rare that a stay so completely surpasses my expectations. But Casa Lusso con 3 Camere con Affaccio Esclusivo su San Petronio did so. It started from the initial communication with the host, Edoardo, who accommodated our last minute need to find an alternative to a place we were staying after it had problems. Edoardo gave us clear directions for entering the apartment and tips for making the most of Bologna. The apartment was massive and had three very spacious and comfortable bedrooms. During record heat in Bologna the splits kept us comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, and the location couldn't be better. It was really too hot to take advantage of the balcony overlooking the lower levels, but for most of the year his would be a real plus. Shutters kept the bedrooms dark and quiet, and opening them revealed a breathtaking view of the city. Finally, anyone considering Bologna should jump at it. It's become my favorite city in Italy: amazing food, lovely people, walkable, youthful, full of history, but lacking the crowds of so many other Italian cities.

Others have mentioned noise in the area, but my experience was that it was much less than I expected. This unit was four floors up (fifth floor by American measures), which diminished the noise. Access to the unit required a smart phone (perhaps there was an alternative, but I didn't ask). It meant having cell service and sharing the URL with the others in my party, but fortunately we nearly always traveled together, so entering the lobby and, upstairs, the apartment worked well for us. One last thing: the outside doesn't look like much, but it's a gem inside. I wish I'd thought to take interior photos.

Very clean, excellent location, very large home

Becuase ot is very centric ot got loud at night from the bar ans restaurants.

Absolutely everything. The location is just amazing. The apartment is beautiful. So much space for a family of 5. The balcony is an added bonus. Edoardo was a fantastic host who always made sure the apartment met our expectations. The views from the bedroom windows were incredible. Genuinely one of the best places we have stayed.
