A great stay in a fantastic location, but let down by faulty sofa beds and a few maintenance issues.

We had a lovely stay at this apartment in Bologna. The location is excellent – very central and perfect for exploring the city. The apartment itself is a good size, nicely laid out, and generally a pleasant place to stay.

There are, however, a few things to be aware of. The sofa beds are unfortunately not fit for purpose; they kept collapsing, which made them uncomfortable and unusable for sleeping. Because of this, the apartment does not comfortably sleep 8 as advertised – realistically, it sleeps 4. The sofa beds definitely need updating. One of the showers wasn’t great, though still usable, and the blind in the living room wasn’t working during our stay.

Fabulous town! Terrible customer service from Hosts

Location was excellent.

We lost our backpack with my phone, wallet and the apartment keys after a day trip out of Bologna. On contacting the Hosts, Wonderful Italy, we were told there was no way to gain access to the apartment and we needed to find alternative accommodation for the night and they could only assist us during working hours. So hope nothing goes wrong on your trip after working hours - as Wonderful Italy will not be able to assist.

very big and beautiful apartment. beds are very comfortable. 5-7min walk to the centre. the host is very friendly

Superb

The apartment is spacious and well equipped (washing machine, dishwasher, smart tv, soaps, cleaning products, coffee and tea). The location was great. Wi-Fi was excellent. The area was quiet. The overall experience was great.

The agent who was supposed to meet us to give us the keys was more than 20 minutes late from the preset appointment and with no contact number to call. We stayed in the street with kids in the cold just waiting. When she arrived, she just complained about how busy Bologna was these days! There was a bad odor in the kitchen the first two days but it disappeared later, we didn't know the source. Some bed sheets had old stains although they are clean. I think they should be replaced to give a better impression about cleanliness, which was good.

Good

Excellent location, great interior design with 2 bathrooms. Can easily fit 6-8 people if needs to. Living room and rooms were extremely spacious. Kitchen was also very well equiped. Easy check in and check out.

Unfortunately, it wasn't very clean as the floor was very dusty. We did also find a sock under one of the sofas and some peanuts under the other one. Under the beds, it was also very dusty and couldn't find a vacuum or even a swiffer to take the dust away. I think it is an easy solution to make it perfect.

location, spacious

noisy, lack of towels and new soaps etc. we only had 1 towel each for 5 days. no coffee machine. comparing to similar properties at this price point I felt it lacked basics or a welcome pack. bins were not emptied prior to our arrival and dishwasher was still full of dirty dishes

Perfect location. Short walking from the center and from the train station. All shopping, restaurants and main sites are close by. Even when we were in the center, the apartment is quiet. It was well equipped and beautifuly organized.

Most of the downsides are typical to Italy: you have to schedule with someone to pickup the keys (though the representative was super nice). The elevator was very small and slow.

Fine settimana a Bologna

Ubicazione eccellente, appartamento ampio e carino. Ci è stato permesso di fare il check out un’ora più tardi.

La pulizia discutibile, ho avvisato che un divano letto era rotto e per fortuna che eravamo in 7, sennò uno rimaneva senza letto, nessuno ha provveduto a fare niente. La prima notte non abbiamo potuto riposare fino alle 2 di notte per una festa nell' appartamento a fianco, urla ,canti, sbattimento di sedie, mobili...d'altronde si sa che Bologna è città universitaria.😴 Per fortuna era un viaggio di piacere e in buona compagnia,poi Bologna è così accogliente che si può sorvolare questo inconveniente,se fosse stato per lavoro sarebbe stato uno stress.
