Great location! Definitely in the heart of everything.

We stayed at Cavour Apartment in Bologna and overall had a great experience. The apartment is beautiful, very well maintained, and the perfect size for a family. The layout was comfortable, clean, and made our stay in Bologna really enjoyable. The only downside was the hot water system. The water heater has limited capacity, so you can’t take long showers or have two showers running at the same time. After the hot water is used, you have to wait about an hour for it to heat back up. Not a dealbreaker, but something families should plan around. Aside from that, the apartment was lovely and we would absolutely recommend it — especially if you’re okay with short, staggered showers.

Visually very appealing apartment in a great location but the smell ruins it.

The apartment itself is beautiful and brand new. Great living space, comfortable bed, beautiful kitchen, lovely modern bath.

First, the apartments are not located at or near the hotel. They are a short walk, five minutes away but found it odd that wasn't clearly explained when booking. The person that walked us to the unit did not speak English so no instructions could be given at the unit. There is an elevator but because the host couldn't explain it, at certain times you need to use a key to open the elevator door on the main floor for security reasons. Since we didn't know that we walked a few times during our stay as the ground floor elevator door would not open. On the day of checkout the elevator was very busy (there is construction in the building going on) so we had to walk our bags down three flights of stairs. The worst part of the unit is the smell. They definitely have a sewer gas problem and try to mask it with plug in room scent which is overwhelming. We opted to unplug them and deal with the smell. Lastly when the building hot water system turns on in the morning the noise that the expanding pipes make could wake the dead.

Great location, spacious rooms, but check in process needs improvement.

Location by far. The rooms are large and spacious. The heating/AC units work properly with simple remotes to operate. The bathrooms are small but modern and the bedding and towels were nice. The washing machine was a great added bonus. The furniture is middle of the road, but functional. The kitchen is comprehensively stocked.

The most difficult and awkward aspect is checking in process. You have to go to a different hotel and then someone guides you for about 10-15 minute walk, with your luggage, through the cobbled medieval side streets of central Bologna. This really should be remedied.

Beautiful, modern, well equipped apartment in a great location with very responsive hosts.

Everything about this apartment was great: large bedrooms with comfortable beds, well equipped bathrooms and kitchen with high end appliances. Location couldn't have been better. Apartment was in a great well maintained building with an elevator. Our check-in was easy, detailed instructions were provided about the location, parking garage and the very kind lady took us to the apartment and showed us around. We had some requests and the helps was immediate. We were treated with the bottle of wine at the arrival. Highly recommended.

Our check in was at 4PM- would have been nice to be able to check in a bit earlier.

Fab location, improve the communication!

Th location was exceptional, literally in the centre of Bologna, a few minutes walk from the main square

The communication with the hosts wasn’t good. I selected the property in part for its 2pm check out time as we had a late flight back, and on the day I was told that actually it was 12pm and they made a mistake! The check in wasn’t straightforward either. Better communication would make this an exceptional choice

Great central location and very comfortable but bring ear plugs!

Great central location, comfortable apartment. We had our teenage children with us so nice to have space to relax when not out and about. Bottle of wine and water was a nice touch.

Paper cups for tea/coffee. Would prefer a china cup/mug - less wasteful too. It was also very noisy throughout the early hours as the recycling bins were right outside so when the local restaurants filled them up with their empties, you could hear it. To be expected when right in the centre but I would recommend ear plugs!

Fantastic centrally located high quality apartment tastefully finished and very comfortable

Superbly located a few blocks from Piazza Maggiore and everything very new and high quality from furniture to mattress to bed linen to bathroom fittings.

No phone connection to Hotel Cavour where staff is if one needs something. Though very responsive if you call using cell phone. So one needs IDD. Would be good to have a WhatsApp number

La posizione eccellente. La casa moderna con ogni comfort. Carino trovare le cialde per il caffè e le bottigliette di acqua.

Solo alcuni rumori intorno alle 6 credo dovuti alla partenza del riscaldamento quindi rumori di tubature poi però spariscono dopo circa mezz'ora.

En otroligt fin lägenhet. Fantastisk läge i centrala Bologna. Nära till allt såsom shopping, restauranger och övriga sevärdheter i staden. Sköna sängar och inredning i lägenheten var generellt av mycket hög standard. Välstädad och god service.

Någon gång tömdes glas från behållare utanför lägenheten som hördes. Men överallt behövs sophantering hanteras så det var egentligen inget som var särskilt anmärkningsvärt.

Appartamento ben organizzato, pulito e dotato di ogni comfort. Tutto è pensato per ospitare sia una coppia che una famiglia. La posizione è centralissima, il Wi-Fi funziona perfettamente e l'aria condizionata è presente in ogni stanza. Ci è piaciuta moltissimo la macchina del caffè a cialde, e le cialde erano abbondanti! Per gli amanti del caffè, è un dettaglio importante.

Sarebbe utile avere qualche bottiglia d’acqua in più.
