Great location but incredibly basic and lack of facilities

The location was brilliant

It was incredibly basic! The beds were uncomfortable (just one thin pillow each), the towels were thin and they didn’t even provide any for our daughter (despite informing me that it was €40 per person per night - I had accidentally booked for one less person than I needed - for extra people to pay for laundry and consumables). The wardrobes don’t open and close properly, there are about a million sharp edges (don’t take children under 5!) and only three (tiny) wine glasses. The bathrooms were clean enough but everything was covered in limescale. They also charged me city tax for my daughter and apparently under 14s are free - but communication with the manager was so awful and rude that I can’t be bothered to query it. I would never stay here again and neither would our friends. Certainly wouldn’t recommend it!

Fabulous location and great space

Location on the square, spacious living area and 2 bathrooms

The bed spaces weren’t quite as described, and only 2 doubles were made up on arrival for 4 adult women. The front door from the lift wouldn’t open so we had to use the stairs which was a bit inconvenient with out heavy bag but not really too much trouble. We contacted the host who came round the next morning to sort the beds out but the door wasn’t able to be fixed.

Fantastic apartment overlooking the piazza. Very comfortable with loads of space. Surrounded by lovely restaurants and bars. Beautiful setting to sit by the full length window with a glass of wine and people watch.

The location

Everything looks good and big and beautiful. BUT!! you need to go on a narrow stairs if you are with big suitcase it's not possible 1.Toilets and all the apartment very dirty and very old a lot of mold and dust. The apartment design is not comfortable and friendly. As I say the bathroom was not nice that we felt like we were in a hostel or guesthouse. Apartment owner is nice but nothing more then that. We will not come back

Historic apartment with Piazza Maggiore out your window

We loved our stay here and will definitely be back. Wonderful location, windows open right on Piazza Maggiore and the Basilica of San Petronio, host met us with the key and was a great help, large two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in a historic building with paintings on the ceiling in the walking area of old town. Walk up one flight and elevator after that, Lots of restaurants, shops, etc within a short walk. Taxi stand nearby and cost about 25 Euros to the airport.

Description says "washer", but it is not in the apartment. There is one washer and it's in a tiny room on the 4th floor and shared by 5 apartments. Cars must park a good distance away.

A great find! Amazing location easy friendly check in process with plenty of communication. The apartment is large well appointed air con is great in summer a little warm in the bedrooms.

Incredible Apartment! Your perfect spot for a stay in Bologna.

Incredible apartment right on the Piazza Maggiore. Beautiful space and very roomy indeed for our family of five. Lorenzo our host was kind enough to wait for us when our incoming flight suffered a short delay and the handover process was painless. In short, this apartment is the perfect spot for a visit to Bologna. You are right in the heart of everything, plenty of food and drink locations within walking distance. Thank you for a brilliant stay Lorenzo, we are counting the days until we come back! Highly, highly recommended!

A great place in the center of Boligna

The location is great. It is in the central location in the center of Bologna, everything is walking distance away. There is a lot of spce in the appartment, the wiev on the main square is amazing.

The aircobition is a bit odd, it works just in the living room. It was a bit hot during the night. Some maintaince should be dobe on the furniture in the living room.

If you want to be in the centre of town, this place should be one of your first choices.

Lovely flat over looking the main square; big rooms great bathrooms and kitchen with appliances, should you wish to cook/prepare food. It is right in the middle of town and everything you might conceivably need is on the doorstep. Host was multilingual and very helpful and will arrange for one of his side businesses to look after bags if you have a late flight home/onward journey. Lovely and friendly cafe right by front door!

No washing machine and steep steps connecting ground and first floors (lift from 1st-2nd floor), but this is a very minor criticism.

Do not trust these people

DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY . I stayed in this property in early February with my mother and aunts . I had treated them to a weekend away . I was very embarrassed to discover that there was no hot water in the whole apartment for the 3 nights that we were. We had to boil the kettle and fill the sink with water to try and wash our hair at various stages over the weekend. This was very time consuming and unpleasant considering I had booked what looked like a luxurious stay. The apartment was also very cold especially in the evenings . We had to turn on a hair dryer to try and warm ourselves and put on multiple layers of clothes before going to bed at night . Alessandro, the manager of the apartment wrote to me and said that he was mortified , and that there was a problem with the boiler and insisted that he wanted to offer a full refund for our stay . Since the beginning of February, he has been stringing me along with messages saying that the refund will come ‘next week’ or ‘in seven days ‘ I now have come to the conclusion that there will be no refund and he had no intention of ever offering a refund . His colleague took photos of our passports when we arrived and I would not recommend that any guest stay in the apartment of these crooks or hand over passports to people who are so untrustworthy.

An excellent, unique location with a view on Piazza Maggiore. The rooms are spacious, two bathrooms very clean and the living room very comfortable.

Das Appartmentemet eignet sich optimal für 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder. Wir waren zu fünft, ein Zimmer ist wirklich sehr klein und eng, ohne Fenster - nicht geeignet für Erwachsene. Die Wohnung war auf ca. 17-18 Grad klimatisiert (draussen wars jedoch noch 24 Grad) und die Heizung wird erst ab Mitte Oktober eingestellt. Es war zu kühl um gemütlich zusammenzusitzen, tagsüber mit offenem Fenster wäre es ok.

Estava bastante suja, cheia de teias de aranha e mofo nos banheiros. No teto de um dos quartos se vê montes de pó. Para um lugar tão caro esperava uma limpeza bem feita e melhores condições.
