Charming, comfortable, safe, and clean!

Random thoughts on Indipendenza Mansion City Centre: Just a short walk from the train station and right in the center of a vibrant, popular street lined with fabulous restaurants and shops. Lots of pedestrians, frequent busses and cyclists pass all day and into the early evening as you would expect from a flat surrounded by everything walking distance from you want to see in the city center of Bologna. This is a beautifully equipped, spacious apartment with the fastest internet we've had in Italy. Beds are comfortable with crisp white sheets, fluffy pillows, and radiant heat in every room that made our January visit very cozy. Lots of storage to unpack our clothes and feel settled. Great water pressure and hot water in the single bathroom with provided white towels, wash cloths, hand towels, shampoo, soaps, and hair dryer made for a pleasant fresh start each morning. Everything was sparkling clean. We didn't cook because the food in this city is second to none! But if we wanted to, the kitchen is well equipped with everything we would have needed. Additionally, Netflix was installed on the TV. The large private deck facing the courtyard was a treat we didn't expect and was perfect for morning coffee outside each day. Tip: if you close the wood shutters to the street facing windows and draw the curtains, it cuts out a lot of the street chatter. We slept comfortably and undisturbed each night. Bonus: there is a lift to get luggage up to the first floor! Special appreciation to our host Antonio who was attentive and helpful suggesting places to eat, and sites to see. We were very pleased and recommend.

Great location but bad experience.

The host was responsive.

Unfortunately the previous tenants damaged the apartment so we were unable to stay in the apartment we booked. The host tried his best to accommodate us but the other apartment offered was too small for our family. Sadly after that we had to find somewhere else to stay and the host refused to refund our money. 😔 A terrible experience in an otherwise beautiful city.

Location is fantastic. Large veranda. Snacks and coffee were provided (which is always appreciated). Host was readily available for advice / guidance.

It was too cold for the amount of bed covers that were provided. The duvet needs to be inserted within a larger cover and not a standalone cover itself.

Great location, manager/host lacked with service level

Very large apartment with a lot of old style charm. Great location close to the train station but also close to the main tourist area.

One bedroom had a broken handle which almost locked one of us in. Manager knew about it but “forgot” to share the information. Bathroom had somewhat of a smell, masked by quite strong cleaning supplies. WiFi exists but was very weak or almost non existent in the other side of the apartment. The manager had apparently had some accident which restricted the service level/response time. As a fellow human I can have empathy with that. As a customer, I feel he should have a backup plan to service the guests.

Fantastic location right in the centre of Bologna. Antonio the host was very helpful.

There were some road works going on laying new tram lines right outside but it didn't affect our enjoyment.

Location was great Patio was lovely Beds were comfortable Having Netflix was a bonus

Air conditioning was only in the bedrooms & were ineffective to cool the entire apartment Window in kitchen needs a blind. We couldn’t eat there as it was too hot The bathroom had a very unpleasant odour Door to second bedroom would not stay open & squeaked Shower head kept falling off. We could not successfully communicate with the property manager. He let us down badly & made many mistakes

Great location and great host. Antonio has excellent communication skills and was always available for any assistance. He offered a safe area to store our luggage before the 3 pm check-in time.

A fantastic base to explore the delights of Bologna.

The beds were fantastic. Our family group of 5 all had a very comfortable stay and slept well. There were some snacks and tea/coffee facilities there. There is a lot to space and also a balcony to sit on when weather is warmer. It is very centrally located but the windows are good so there is little noise.

The bathroom was a bit dated and it was a little bit difficult to gain access when we first arrived. The host had sent directions and we did eventually work it out.

We stayed 2 nights and that was enough, Bologna is a very hectic city.

The location is close to the station and the main street , not far to go with suitcases on foot. 15 minutes further down on foot is the nicer areas towards the university and main sites of Bologna.

Being on the main street it is noisey overnight. This end of town is more grungy with dodgy people in the gardens over the road.

Lovely apartment

Really Comfortable beds, very clean. Great location as well. The road was a little noisy but the bedrooms are on the otherside of the property and it didn't really bother us. Good instructions on how to get in. AC worked well too.

Not much to dislike. Maybe a slightly more secure location to store bags if you get there early. Our bags were fine though but a locker would be great to remove any doubts.

WONDERFUL PLACE

Awesome place. The flat is located in the city center of bologna (with car parking available on site). Everything was super clean and modern, A/C available in every room, big living room with smart tv, well equipped kitchen. You also find an extremely big private terrace! He made me self check in at 11.30 pm.

I really appreciated the availability and the kindness of the host. Antonio proved to really care about our stay with explanations and support. The place is in an optimal position between the city centre and the station. The place is also well furnished and completely new. It did not feel cheap.

Расположение, размер квартиры, удобные и большие кровати.

Плохая звуковая изоляция , точнее отсутствие ее. В коридоре старые окна, из которых дует. Пол холодный. Не повезло: на второй день сломался бойлер - пропало отопление и горячая вода. При минусовой температуре на улице, это был неприятный сюрприз. Хотя и при нем радиаторы очень шумели, поэтому приходилось на ночь отключать. Не помешало бы выпустить из них воздух. Обогревались кондиционерами, а вот от ледяного душа воздержались. Благо,оставались только 3 ночи. И в первый вечер горячая вода ещё была. Второе невезение - личные проблемы у хозяина. Он ответил по вотсапу только в первый день, вернее вечер нашего приезда. А потом пропал. Сообщение с извинениями и обещаниями лучше в следующий раз пришло, когда мы уже вернулись домой.

La casa è su una delle vie principali di Bologna, indicativamente 15/20 minuti da piazza maggiore.

Le stanze era spaziose e confortevoli. I servizi hanno funzionato alla perfezione. L'host, gentile e disponibile, offre qualche merendena per la colazione e caffè.

La casa per sette persone è piccola, ha solo un bagno e il soggiorno è praticamente insesistente. Se volete un punto d'appoggio (entra ed esci) fa al caso vostro, mentre se volete godervi la casa non è esattamente quello che fa per voi. Il rapporto qualità prezzo non è eccelso ma va bene così.

Servicen var 100%. Bra centralt läge och rent.

Vi gillade läget då det var nära att gå till centrum. Vår värd var helt fantastsik behjälplig, med allt. Vi fick exempelvis hjälp med taxi till flyget, fast det lät helt omlöjligt då det var helg och mitt på natten. Rummen var bra och det var en lugn utegård från balkongen. Vi välkomnades med bakverk på bordet och det var lätt att följa värdens pdf med instruktioner. Vi kan inte nog rekomendera värdens vilja att hjälpa oss och vi kände oss trygga.

Absolut så måste vi nämna oljudet från lägenheten ovanför oss. Båda nätterna klampade man runt med skor på och allt hördes ned till oss. Mycket dålig isolering mellan lägenheterna.

Bom, mas caro pelo que oferece.

Gostei da simpatia do Antonio, da localização, do fato de ter estacionamento e da limpeza e tamanho do apartamento. Também é muito fácil pegar as chaves e abrir o portão com o código.

Pelo preço cobrado, esperava muito mais. A pia do banheiro é antiga e pequena, o box é pequeno, as camas são muito moles, não tem uma cômoda ou aparador nos quartos para colocar nossas coisas.

Perfect in het centrum van Bologna

Perfecte locatie in de hoofdstraat van Bologna. Parkeren super goed geregeld, zelfs vroeg kunnen parkeren op de dag van aankomst en op de dag van vertrek nog de hele dag mogen laten staan. Appartement is zeer ruim.

Het appartement is erg gehorig vanaf de bovenburen. Als de luiken open zijn is het ook gehorig vanaf de staat.

Det ene soverommet var lytt, mye støy fra gata (veiarbeid startet nøyaktig 6.30) og støy fra trappegangen fra gjester som kom/gikk sent. De andre tre rommene var ikke plager med støy.

La posizione dell’appartamento in pieno centro è ottimale per chi desidera visitare Bologna. L’appartamento è dotato di 3 camere matrimoniali e una camera singola molto grandi, un ingresso con divano e tv, cucina, bagno…ma il punto forte è il terrazzo che si affaccia su tutte le camere!!! Il proprietario disponibilissimo ad aiutarci per ogni nostra richiesta. Parcheggio nel cortile interno il top!!! Consigliatissimo!!!

Nära centrum, bra sängar. Ta med morgontofflor då det kan vara lite dragit i hallen, lite oväsen ut mot gatan men det hörs inget ifrån sovrummet. Mycket charmig lägenhet och en mycket trevlig värd. Kaffekapselmaskin med gott kaffe. Hade önskat en brödrost men det är ju inte hela världen.
