Perfect Family Stay – Safe, Convenient & Highly Recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at Milleventi Apartments in Bologna and would absolutely give it 10/10. The apartment was perfect for our family of four — spacious, clean, and very comfortable. It had everything we needed to feel at home during our trip. The location is excellent: very close to the train station, which made getting around incredibly easy, especially with kids. At the same time, the area felt very safe and convenient, with shops and restaurants nearby. We had wonderful host— friendly, responsive, and truly committed to making sure we had a great experience. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Bologna and would happily stay here again!

Comfortable apartment in a great location.

Very comfortable and well positioned apartment. 5 minute walk from main shopping street, 15 minute walk from the main square and 10 minute walk to the train station. Plenty of good restaurants and bars in walking distance, as well as 2 supermarkets a couple of minutes walk away. Host was very helpful and good at communicating. Bed was comfortable and the apartment had Netflix and good WiFi.

Could have done with a few more kitchen bits. A larger chopping board and a bread knife would be a good addition.

Great location, comfortable stay

The apartment is in a very convenient location, within walking distance of both the old city center and the train station. It was clean and well equipped, suitable for both short and longer stays. Overall it was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Amazing

Very clean in a great location. Great facilities and comfy bed. Alessandrac was extremely helpful with anything we needed. Even offered an early check in as the apartment was ready which was greatly appreciated. Would definitely recommend if you are heading to Bologna.

Great apartment! It's a pity it is on a busy road.

Hotel-quality apartment! Everything was super high-quality and super clean! The location is very convenient as it is just a 10-min walk to the Central Train Station.

The only problem is that the apartment is on a very busy road. Despite the very strong modern double-glazing, the noise of traffic is constant. You can also hear people in other apartments next door. I used ear-plugs every night and that did the trick, but for anyone who is sensitive to noise, this could be a problem.

Nice apartment for a holiday in Bologna

A very nice and clean apartment, and Alessandro is always available. The apartment is on the fifth floor, so there's no outside noise. Double glazing and a very bright apartment right in the center, with everything close by.

The apartment is spacious, clean and conveniently located between the centre of the old town and the train station. The check-in process was smooth and the host was very responsive.

Nice apartment near the train station. Clean, comfortable and with all of the necessary kitchen items. I especially like the coffee machine and the included coffee pods.

Great location, but rather noisy due to ongoing construction in the street.

The location is perfect, we did everything on foot. The closeness to train station is a plus. Communication with host is easy and check in is very smooth.

The kitchen looks great, but is rather unfunctional. Some things are missing (like large knife) and there isnt enough power outlets. The dumpster is locked and there is some specific card you need in order to dump thrash. There is ongoing construction in the street and it can be quite loud (we actually got ourselves a whole night of drilling). There is an additional city tax which should be mentioned when booking (or even better included in the price).

We had a great time in Bologna and would definitely recommend staying at Milleventi Apartments

We liked the location as it was only a 5-10 minute walk from the train station and a 15 minute walk into Piazza Maggiore and the city centre. Instructions how to access the apartment were sent via WhatsApp and were very clear and easy to follow. Although we never met him, Alessandro the host was very attentive and responded quickly to messages. He also gave us a load of suggestions as to where to eat and he checked in during the week to make sure everything was going well. The apartment was very clean, tidy and spacious and had everything we needed for a week's stay. It has a very modern minimalist feel. We didn't cook anything so didn't use any of these facilities so can't comment on that. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great. All in all we really enjoyed staying at this apartment and can see why it is highly rated. We would definitely use again if we stayed in Bologna.

A coffee table or small tables would have been helpful when sitting on the settee with a wine or two but not a deal breaker by any means. If you are coming from the UK be aware that the TV does not transmit any English speaking channels. Again not a deal breaker as we were on holiday.

A very comfortable stay in Bologna!

The apartment was spotlessly clean, modern, comfortable and well-located for the station, while also being ~15 min walk to the centre. It was perfect for me as I was using Bologna as a base while doing day trips in Emilia-Romagna. Despite being on a main road, my apartment faced an inner atrium, so I got no road noise. Communication with Alessandro was also great and he offered me plenty of recommendations for food!

There was nothing major, but I have a couple of small suggestions for improvement. More bins in the apartment would have been nice, e.g. one in the bathroom. Also, the sound insulation between my apartment and my neighbour's wasn't great; perhaps the apartments could benefit from a sign on the wall or a reminder to guests to not speak too loudly at unsociable hours.

The property was very modern, exceptionally clean, great location, lots of eating places from the door step and approximately 7mins walk to the train station lots of trains to other towns to visit. Alessandro was great and there for advice if required.

I would suggest only a couple of small additions to improve the amenities. Some pegs for clothes drying and a larger knife for bread.

It is a very pleasant place, easy access to both the train station and the historical heart of the city, the host is extremely helpful and welcoming - repeated communication and checking up on how things are going makes one feel safe and confident, which brings peace of mind and lets you fully enjoy the holiday. The owner was very helpful and always replied to our few questions quickly.

We did our own cooking. The Coop was nearby so tt suited us. Railway station is nearby but not too close. Not far to walk to main Piazza.

There were a couple of small things. Cutlery could have been checked as there was only one spoon for breakfast. The dish washing sponge was dirty. There were no instructions for the washing machine.

Fantastic place to stay, easy access to central train station and city centre sights.

Conveniently located approximately 15 - 20 minutes (walking) from Bologna Centrale train station and 20 minutes to the city centre. COOP supermarket 2 minutes away and Aldi is 5 minutes around the corner. Functional apartment with modern amenities. Good air conditioning and clean bathroom. Alessandro was very helpful and kept an open line of communication at all times. Would definately use Milliventi Apartments Bolgna again!

Top "as new" modern furnished property. Super location.

1. Location was excellent. An easy near direct 15 minute walk from railway station. Then a second direct walk into historic city centre. Ready communication with owner ensured fast access to property....and he was in ready access, when need arose. 2. Apartment inside has "as new" appearance - with matching fittings and appliances. 2.Further point out an Aldi around the corner, and a COOP a short distance in the other direction. Both stores big assistance in securing food supplies. 3.Plenty of local eateries in area too (not used). 4. Owner has installed high level security on property. Assuring for guests. 5. Very quiet at night. Air conditioning appropriate.

The owner gave false information about his property and he is a liar, keep clear.

Property was advertised as having balcony, inner courtyard view, washing machine, desk, ironing facilities amongst other features but had none of these. There was mould round bedroom windows. Owner said we caused the mould by leaving windows open in the rain. We didn't open the windows because of the noise from the street below and weather records show there was 0 mm rain during our entire stay. He is a liar. Owner claims we knew the property was different to the one advertised as we changed our dates, but we have his text which says the apartment was basically the same as the original booking. He also overcharged on tourist tax.

Alessandro was very communicative and checked in on us 😊 He sent us a QR code ahead of time to get in—with very explicit instructions and pictures. It was super easy to use. The apartment was spotless. The location was perfect. We appreciated being close to the train station as well as the center of town.

Nice place, central, terrific hosts, would stay there again.

The location was good, short walking distance to local Aldi, and Coop stores . Bus stops and train stations close by. The owners were very helpful in giving advice regarding local restaurants and were very fast to respond to any request.

Just a few suggestions really. The air conditioning went off in the middle of the night every night, so you wake up hot, and have to turn on a light to manipulate the control to turn it on again. We tried opening the windows instead but the mosquitos ate us alive as there are no insect screens . The property could do with some wall hooks for things like coats and hats etc. Our stay was for 5 nights but there was only one set of towels so our towels were constantly wet as there was no place to dry them except over the backs of chairs so it made the room look a bit messy. The space came with an iron, but no ironing board ( one was supplied promptly when we asked, but it should have been in the room) Maybe an electric towel drying rack would be a good addition. I know this sounds a lot, but you asked for suggestions. The place was good, but for $AUD 260 per night these things typically should be dealt with.

Great location, QR code and entry process very simple, two good TVs with Netflix etc, all the necessary facilities, two people worked there for a week on video calls and WiFi was mostly good (some patchiness from the bedroom). All round, excellent!

Apartment close to the central train station and convenient to many services

This apartment is a five maybe 10 minute walk from the central train station of Bologna. Excellent restaurants all around the pharmacy in a grocery store within 100 feet of the apartment. Unfortunately, we caught some fall weather and didn’t get to see many sites. Access to the apartment with the QR code is very easy and convenient. Location is quite quiet. Apartment has been recently remodeled.

The location was fantastic. Alessandro, the host, was so helpful and pleasant and this made our stay.

The daily bag of rubbish that we seemed to accumulate couldn’t be disposed of in a communal bin. The system of rubbish disposal is quite different in this city and country to our own. We disposed of the rubbish in the public bins in the street. This isn’t a criticism, more an observation of a difference. At home, it’s a big no-no to put your house rubbish in a public bin. Here, it seemed to be a general thing and the public bins are cleaned every day and lined with bags.

Convenient Apartment

Excellent communication from host. Close to train station. Spacious apartment. Easy entry with QR code. Mid stay extra cleaning provided by host.

No exhaust fan above stove (makes a noise to turn on but actual mechanism has been removed). The end result is that if you cook, the apartment fills with smoke/steam/smell. Limited provisions provided compared to other apartments we have stayed at. Note also, an electric oven is present (although not actually listed as an amenity) but is not connected to electricity. Just to know, in case you make the mistake like we did and buy food to cook in it. Mattress was very soft, not to my liking but accept this is a personal preference. Host offering me discount on next stay if I gave him 10/10 for my review
