A charming private Swiss Chalet entirely to yourself with private garden, outside seating and BBQ grill. This self-contained chalet has 3 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, family bathroom, open plan lounge / dining area with seating for 6. There is parking for two cars. Smart TV and WIFI throughout.

The garden is private for your use with dining seating for 6 and a BBQ. A fantastic spot to relax and enjoy the evening Eiger, Monch & Jungfrau sunset. This area gets sun all evening long!

Located on a quiet cul-de-sac in sunny Unterseen. The lake of Thun, train station, shops and all amenities are within walking distance, so you can enjoy lovely alpine sunsets after a day of hiking, sightseeing and all sorts of adventure!

This chalet has been set up with comfort in mind and is fully equipped for all you need during you stay. Excellent public services and wonderful surroundings.

The chalet was so darling and perfect for our needs. It was close to town by bus and had plenty of parking for our car. The home doesn't have air conditioning (most homes don't) but it was comfortable in the warm temperatures. Monika was wonderful and very helpful.

We enjoyed spending Christmas at this Chalet! Monika was a wonderful host and even provide Fondu cheese for us on our arrival. Kitchen was well equipped, hairdryer provided and espresso machine. Chalet was cozy and warm! Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in this location for a few nights. What a place. It's exactly what we expected. True Switzerland. We loved being in the neighborhood. The views are spectacular. I spent a few nights in this location, and it was exactly what we expected - true Switzerland. A lovely traditional swiss chalet, with everything needed to enjoy our stay and a good base to explore the area. The heating was included and easy to control, nice mountain views, around 15 mins walk to Michels bakery cafe for breakfast, a coffee, fresh bread and cakes! The Interlaken guest card gives free local bus transport, and discounts for various trips/ admissions. I recommend the funicular railway to Harder Kulm view point and restaurant for magnificent views across both lakes, Geissbach falls (we drove, but can take the boat), the dramatic Aare Gorge walk near Meiringen. For a wet day, go to the Museum of Clocks and Mechanical Musical Instruments in Oberhofen - well worth a visit (cash payment only), we had a personal tour and demonstrations in English 🙂

This home was just right for us - 4 adults visiting Interlaken and hoping to enjoy a few days of hiking in the surrounding area. Kitchen was well-equipped and open to the living area, which is small but cozy and comfortable. Public transit in the area is very dependable, we did not have (or need) a car. Note that the upstairs bedroom (sleeps 2) is accessed by a narrow and steep stairway, may be challenging for visitors with accessibility issues. Monika was very responsive and friendly - thanks for a great stay!

Comfortable and cozy home . Really close to multiple bus stops that allowed our group to get to and from Interlaken central hubs and nearby attractions pretty easy. This was a great home base for our group.

The pictures for this home portray it for the most part, although after staying in the home, the pictures make it seem bigger. The room with the trundle bed has almost no floor space for items when pulled out. It was really hot in the home as there is no AC, though 3 fans were provided. There were washcloths, hand and bath towels provided, plus many Food kitchen items for use. The shower was very narrow and short and having to take short showers was a draw back. We aren’t large people and felt claustrophobic in the shower. We were continually worried that we would run out of water mid shower. There are no screens on the windows (seemed to be a Europe thing), so we got lots of mosquito bites trying to draw in the cooler air to cool down the house. There were also multiple cobwebs that I swept clean in three different rooms. Kitchen table is round instead of rectangular. Upstairs landing picture is different than pictured. It is down a very quiet dead end street. Instructions for bus stops and grocery stores plus bus tickets were provided which was a bonus. It’s about a 15 min walk if you don’t take the bus. Overall, it felt like a rustic cabin versus a plush vacation get away for our end of July 2024 vacation.

This chalet is exactly what we were hoping for. Clean and efficient, cozy decor and had everything we needed. It really felt like home. Easy to walk or take the bus to Unterseen and Interlaken restaurants and train stations. The snowcapped mountain views were an additional plus!

The location was central to all the places we wished to visit along the 2 lakes. We had a rental car so parking on premises was a bonus. The accommodation was roomy for the 5 adults in the family. The kitchen was well appointed so we could cook meals with groceries from the nearby COOP. The Interlaken discount card Monika provided saved us a few Euro in admission fees at several attractions. She was a hospitable and welcoming hostess. I highly recommend.

We finished our European trip with this chalet and it was a perfect ending! The location was amazing, close to public transport (thank you for the bus tickets), walking distance from town, beautiful views, quiet neighbourhood. The chalet had all the facilities needed for a short stay, with so much thought put into everything (small things like bins in each room, face washers provided, maps prepared for us, kitchen well stocked, wifi in all areas, detailed information folder). Communication with host was exceptional, she was so helpful and friendly. The beds were the most comfortable we have slept in all over Europe! Honestly, this place is a winner!

We had a delightful time at this cozy chalet a few minutes' walk from Interlaken. Beautiful views, well-equipped kitchen and total peace and quiet, while still being close to town. We would love to return in the summer months, though it was invigorating to wake up and see the snow-capped peaks out of our window each day. Highly recommend!

We’re a family of 4 and were returning to the region for the first time in a few years. The property was lovely, with a great view of the mountains. It was spotlessly clean, had lots of mod cons and plenty of essentials in the kitchen. We didn’t meet the host Monika in person but she was very helpful and responsive via the app. Would definitely recommend.
