Collingwood Place is located in a quiet residential area just 2 minutes walk from the church where we had a family wedding. It fronts onto a beautiful green with two ancient oak trees. Saw squirrels, birds and even a fox from the bedroom window! The house was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. All four bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, provided with clean white bedding and towels. It had everything we needed for a few days in the lead-up to the wedding.
Although clean and fully functioning, both bathrooms are in need of updating. The family bathroom on the middle floor just has a shower over the bath, attached to the wall at waist height which was awkward to use. There was no toilet paper provided (this may have been an oversight?). No plug or washing-up bowl for the kitchen sink (we improvised with a large pan!).
