Ignore past reviews -- nothing wrong here and a very comfortable stay

The fact that this was self-catering, as I stayed for four nights. Paying restaurants for that long would add far too much cost. The refrigerator was small but perfectly acceptable (included freezer) so I could get what I needed at a market to cook for myself. Included all I needed to cook -- microwave, kettle, toaster, oven, four-burner stove, fridge, cutlery, glasses, plates. Controlled my own heating. Duvet was excellent, bed and pillows comfortable. Wonderful picture window seating area. WiFi excellent quality. I don't watch TV so can't comment on channels available etc. While the kitchen was well-stocked, some new pots and pans would be appreciated, as some people don't take care of things if they're not their own. I'm sure some new ones could be gotten any the market there for really cheap! The shower.....fantastic! The power was equivalent to a spa, and it was difficult to actually end the shower because it felt so good :-) Adriana, apartment manager, was wonderful. Helped me up those steep stairs (the only downside to the stay, but only bad with suitcases), checked the apartment with me, got me anything I needed, was super welcoming. She's new and is working very hard to really up the quality of the apartments and the for all guests.

It's not really fair for me to put this one complaint in here, as it's not anything the apartments can really do anything about. 1--those steep stairs! But that's just the design of the entrance. And people who don't think of other guests and let doors slam and forget how loud their footsteps can be to downstairs neighbors when they drag suitcases, etc.

Great location for China Town and the Gay Village !

The location was excellent !

Not enough space for cloths. the hanging rail in the wardrobr was not installed the RIGHT WAY. At times the rail with all the coats etc would fall down. So would have to fix and hang all again. No rails in the bathroom for hanging towels.

Overall very satisfied

The location whilst not scenic was very convenient for transport links . I found the pre arrival check in requirements suspicious to the point I called booking.com I have never before had to provide photo ID and a photo of a credit card. It felt like a scam .

Nice and central. Parking located over the road

Bathroom door had no latch. Food left in fridge and cupboards. Oven/microwave absolutely smelt. Sewage smell when arrived. No sheet for the sofa bed

Not the adventure I hoped for….

Super nice location.

The heating didn’t work properly, we had people just walk into our apartment the 3/4 day I was there, they changed the check in time the day I arrived and I had to wonder around with suitcases… The picture of the apartment wasn’t what I got. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. The iron had melting stuff on it and I had to clean it. They didn’t provide a broom but a hand brush… to clean an apartment for nearly 3 weeks. I had to sweep the apartment literally on my hands and knees. They didn’t provide washing machine or laundry services I had to take the towels and bedding to friends and family to clean… I rented an apartment for 3 weeks… even hotels allow for fresh sheets and towels… The day I arrive they announce new rules that were not in the rental agreement… I bought toilet paper, dish soap, and cleaning supplies… I even had to buy trash bags and other things… like I’m not sure what unpaid for beyond four walls and working facilities. I wasn’t allowed to cancel the stay and go elsewhere so I have to stay there. You couldn’t set the thermostat, so it was boiling hot or too cold… Honestly I was super excited to stay in an apartment and now I never want to do it again….

A well equipped flat, beautifully presented and close to the railway station, Bull Ring, theatres and restaurants.

It was quite stressful trying to contact the owner and only getting the key code a few hours before check in.

The bed was old and too soft. It should be replaced. There were no forks, spoons, knives or spatulas.

Fair location and price, but bad customer service.

The apt is spacious and close enough to the train station.

The communication was not ideal. I had to ask the host SEVERAL times about the parking instructions until they could actually understand my questions. They kept answering about the price for parking when I actually wanted to know how to actually transfer the money to them. They weren't paying attention to my questions. To add, I found the whole customer experience really bad and greedy. When I booked the accommodation on booking.com then I was asked to complete the booking on an external website, and to pay for a deposit outside booking.com - I think that defeats the purpose of using booking.com. I had to spend more time setting up an account > providing my details again > paying the deposit. Kind of annoying. Then extra fee for parking and an early check in/out (even though the apto might be ready for you earlier). The apto itself seems a bit dated, it is not bad, but don't expect much. Coffee table has lots of scratches, stains on the walls and on the picture frames, loads of glitter on the cushions (?), and the bedroom had some dust around the bed.

Some good and some bad points but book directly for better timings

Great location. Easy self checkin and checkout. Paid but safe parking about 10 mins walk away. Apartment was small but clean. Good value for the location. £150 deposit automatically taken on checkin day although it was returned promptly after checkout.

Hated being on surveillance all the time via the cameras in the corridors. There was only 1 heater in the apartment which was in the bedroom. Bedroom temperature was ok but if you wanted to heat the rest of the flat you had to put the heater on full and then it got too hot in the bedroom. No hot water in the kitchen or bathroom sinks. Only hot water via the electric shower. The mattress on the bed was old and very uncomfortable which meant I didn’t sleep most of the night. The final confirmation specified check in time of 3pm and check out at 11am but the property staff told me check in was 4pm and check out at 10am which is ridiculous. They were totally inflexible and told me the earlier and later check out times were for direct bookings only so I was penalised for Booking via booking.com which I felt was very unfair.

Good location

Definitely needs a redecoration. Lots of chips and scuffs on the walls and furnishings. Also had lots of dust and food crumbs from previous guests not swept up!

Nice and comfortable room

Nice modern looking room with all the necessary facilities. Also had netflix which was a nice perk. Also staff were friendly and quick at responding to my requests over the phone and whatsapp. I also found the apartment to feel safe and secure.

The stair cases are quite steep so you must be careful. HoweverI did see one person racing up and down the stairs.

Nice apartment (not the building) with very inconvenient parking

I likex that the apartment was clean and well equipped, although additional seating and a small table would have made it easier to watch TV. The location was not brilliant, but it was close enough to some of the central locations and China town.

I have had a big issue with parking. Very general information about the parking location and facilities were sent alongside the extra payment demand. When on the day of arrival I asked for more details (before paying the fee of £20) no further information regarding the facilities was given, even though I was already a guest of the hotel (e.g. I didn't know that the key to the parking garage was in the room and I would first need to go to the room before parking the car in a narrow, dark street 5 min away from the apartment). Once I paid against my better judgement, the very vague instructions came through which out me off parking my car in the place I paid for, and thankfully found a space in the street near the apartment for extra fee). Also, travelling alone with a child and heavy luggage to carry made the whole hassle and stress of using their parking facilities completely not worthwhile. I will be demanding a refund via booking.com from the landlord.

Easy to get into. Nice touch. It was as advertised. I will never stay in a hotel again. I thoroughly recommend. Bedding as clean and towels very clean.

Great location for the theatre, however I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness of the room.

The location was excellent as I was working at the Hippodrome. The bed was very comfy.

Throw away that couch 🤢

The location near good kebab, and walking to train station. The kitchen.

That couch needs to thrown away, the carpet is not right, either. In my opinion it was not vacuumed; there were not "visible" vacuum lines. You can see where it was attempted. Every night I was woken up by bites. I started taken pictures of the bites. I think they were in that couch. I took photos of the bite areas on my ankles and legs. I had to wash my clothes in 10000 degrees temperature when I got back to London.

It was lovely, did the trick - clean, spacious and just what we needed!

It was a long passcode for the apartment door, which I understand why, but if you were 'out on the town' would never be able to get in!

There were two large bottles of laughing gas cannisters in the boiler room which the children found (when they were exploring) which was not appropriate (and too many questions to answer!) Sofa bed uncomfortable for the person one the outside (me!)
