Very good location, the bed and sofa bed were well, it was clean and the person that give us the key was very welcoming.

Dont stay here

The beds were comfortable and it was close to the centre

There were stains on the bedding and many on the sofa, kitchen units had dried food on them. The stay was for 3 people but there was only 2 mugs and 2 towels provided and only 2 dining chairs safe to sit on as the other 2 were falling apart. We had to rewash the cups and plates. Unusual musty smell in both bathrooms Could not sleep until past 3am due to the noise, the windows dont have an adequate seal and so we could hear everything. At the end of the stay they tried to withold my security deposit citing damage to a shower despite us never using the shower due to inadequate temperature gauge and only have 2 towels that we also had to use as hand towels. Booking.com actually gave me the deposit back because they wouldnt

Okay stay

The location was good and the size of the apartment was good. I liked the doors that open as windows. I think it would be a great summer spot.

The wifi didn't work, at all. The tv couldn't connect so if you are looking for a place to work it is not a great stay.

Arrive whilst the hosts are available

This host did not respond to any communication regarding the property, we were arriving outside their core arrival times which were sent after making the booking. Arriving from London after midnight, no answer from the messages or calls I was homeless for the night. Not all negative though, a nice lesson learnt, most hotels don't accept walk-in bookings after midnight. Booking.com were useless aswell. The property might be in a good location and if you arrive within their core hours I'm sure you might have a good time, otherwise beware.

Tatty lumpy mattress and pillows.

Location ok but directions were wrong and had to wait around in the wrong street as per directions sent for someone to turn up with the key and escort tent to the correct street around the corner

Bed mattress and pillows very cheap and uncomfortable. Actually lumpy and unpleasant to sleep on. Bedding worn and poor quality. A tatty ripped polyester satin cushion on the bed. Felt like a knocking shop more usually rented out by the hour.

The bathrooms were dirty (hair on the floors, pink mould around), no shower gel but provided moisturizer? Sofa was dirty and had cigarette burns, fridge had a smell, balcony was dirty and littered, previous tenants hair pins found all over bedroom floor, apartment had a damp unclean smell, stained walls and skirting, dusty.

Extremely Disappointing and Unhygienic Stay – Avoid This Place!

Absolutely nothing

I recently booked what appeared to be a lovely apartment in Birmingham for my family, but our experience was anything but pleasant. The apartment was located in the middle of a noisy party area, making it extremely unsuitable for children. The apartment was filthy, with broken furniture and a kitchen that barely functioned. We had no choice but to leave and find another hotel. Despite reaching out to the hosts, we received no response and no refund. I strongly advise others to avoid this place.

Centrally located.

The security deposit of GBP250 is too much for a one-night stay, and then there is a late check-in fee of GBP30 after 6 pm which was not communicated beforehand. The late check-in and check-out fees were hidden charges and the booking was not genuine enough. The apartment is also called a different name and it all seemed not genuine throughout the whole booking process. We used the parking so, we needed the key to open the gate and then walked back to put the key back inside which was inconvenient. Also, I felt like I was trapped into this booking with no free cancellation, and the accommodation was not co-operative with my cancel request after communicating about hidden charges. (the security deposit was returned after 6 days.)

Friendly Host Good Location

Needed a deep clean Dirty windows, stained sofa, frayed rug, radiator hanging off wall, walls scuffed chipped and marked, dirty fridge, broken bin, dimmer lights not working in living room. No shower gel/ toiletries, no chairs on balcony, only 1 drinking glass, very old stiff towels and old bedding. Very neglected which was such a let down as it has lots of potential should it be deep cleaned and updated.

The Property Needs A Full Refurbishment! Beds/Matresses (Springs Where Popping Out Good Clean Painting New Kitchen Accessories/ Frying Pan, Cooking Pan, Knew Chopping Knives (The Ones In There Where Disgusting! Towels That Where Provided To Us Had Stains All On Them. Good Job We Took Our Own Towels. All The Towels Needed Was Some Bleach And Vanish In A Wash. One Of The Bathrooms Had Like Mold Around The ScurtingBoards And The Shower Was Broke So We Just Used The Other Bathroom.

Lovely flat , just too noisy for a group of 50 somethings !

Well appointed and clean with very comfy beds

The noise from the main road kept all five of us awake unfortunately due it being situated on such a busy main road and the constant stream of drunken night time revellers shouting and fighting until 5 am. The car park across the road was also very busy and noisy.

Good stay in Birmingham but could have been better.

Very close to the city centre to easy to get to town and places close by. Secure parking facility. Nice living room with spacious area and kitchen with a lot of light. And nice decor.

Bed was very uncomfortable and lamp by bedside couldn’t be used or plugged in as there were no sockets nearby. Shower was a bit annoying as wouldn’t stay upright and temperature was hard to control. Host hard to communicate with especially when trying to find parking area or leave it swiftly.

Bad experience

I liked the apartment

They said it is a secure car park, but my car and several other cars got broken into.my car window got smashed and stuff got stolen they didn't pay me back for the Windsor instead they were trying to get rid of me deffo never booking a stay here again no compensation no nothing and one of the managers was hella rude so I wouldn't suggest it to anyone

Very unhappy and poor value for money.

The position

Very poorly equipped. Very few kitchen facilities and what were there were not fit to use. Handle had fallen off knives which made them unsafe. The tea towel that had been left to use was filthy and looked as if it had been used to clean the floors. No sink plugs or washing up bowl. No plug for the bath and generally run down. I also must say that this was the second apartment that we were offered and the first one we were offered I refused to stay in as that was truly a hovel. It was more like a squat.

Good location

The standards of the room were not upto expectation as described on the pictures. It was very dusty and dirty did not look like it had been cleaned for days marks on the doors and balcony window was dirty. Bedsheets were also not cleaned and had stains in the 2nd bedroom. Kitchen smelt damp and fridge was disturbing did not want to leave any food due to smell No hot water on the property when arriving made you aware of this and nobody came until about 6 hours after to have a look this was very poor service. Messaged the agent as 1:16pm and someone came at 9:50pm We also got charged late checkout which I believe should be removed as the stay we had was not pleasant and the standards were very low as we travelled from London we had high expectations and when arriving this was not the case. The whole building had a distraught odour and was not pleasing.

Curtains didn’t cover the entire window. Only 1 bedside table, the other side of the bed had a rubbish bin instead. No hand towels, no floor towels. No air conditioning, room was very hot. Sink didn’t drain properly in the bathroom. Lounge was rock hard.

Good location, left much to the imagination.

It’s location was excellent, very close to the train station and centre of town.

Lots of things broken/damaged in the property and stains on bedding and curtains. Curtains did not fit the size of the window so in the morning, light shines through. Even though 4 adults were staying only 2 towels were left, I text about this and had no reply at all during my stay so resorted to using a hand towel to dry myself. The hob in the kitchen was all cracked and broken, completely unsafe to use. The hall stunk of weed the whole time we were there.

Great Location and Big Apartment

Great location. It's in the center of the China Town. There are several supermarkets and plenty of restaurants nearby the apartment. The room is big and comfort.

The room is ok, but would be better if it is cleaner and and with more facilities and tools. For example, there is a kitchen in the apartment but only one cooking pan was provided. There were no enough kitchenware for us to cook a proper dinner. There was no hair dryer but we didn't notice until at night. But it's good that there was someone to pick up our call and sent us a hair dryer two hours later. Thanks for that otherwise we cannot sleep with our wet hair.

I am absolutely appalled at the state of this apartment I paid so much money for a dirty apartment that had cobwebs in every corner of every room.. the sofa bed that my children were suppose to sleep on was absolutely filthy it had stains all over it so I had to squeeze all four children on 1 bed and have the baby in my bed and my husband slept on the other single bed we all came out with itchy rashes my daughters face came out with spots n my husband who suffers already with psoriasis got a reaction of some sort and his skin was itchy and stinging because the apartment was so dirty the fan was covered in dust the corners of the rooms had cobwebs the bathroom ceiling had mould all over, the corners of the bathroom and bedroom floors were filthy with somebody’s body hairs stuck on the skirting boards there was an awful smell lingering and the outdoor balcony if you can even call it that was not even a balcony just a small outdoor area that was dirty and mouldy it was on the ground floor nothing like the picture I had seen I actually can not believe how much money I paid I have taken so many pictures of everything and I would like to make an official complaint and I will be taking this further

Although it has no smoking signs everywhere, It stinks of smoke in here The person who I was staying with tripped over the faulty rug in the living room - huge safety hazard I have a dust allergy and as you can see just by the fan this was not safe for me to stay in The sheets were dirty The skirting boards were dirty The bathroom was dirty The mugs in the kitchen were dirty I also booked a room with a balcony, on arrival we realised it was just a big door We had to leave this apartment in the middle of the night and pay for our own new booking. The property and booking.com have refused to refund me even though it was medically unsafe for me to stay there

Excellent

We booked in for four nights and had a great stay. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped and surprisingly very quiet especially as it's located right in the middle of a lively area. The bed was comfy, the apartment was clean and the shower had plenty of hot water. We were greeted by Adam for the key handover, a very pleasant young man who was happy to answer all our questions. There's a Wetherspoons across the road, a Tesco Express on the corner and lots of places to eat as it's right by China Town. We'll definitely book again the next time we're in Birmingham.

Good amount of space, comfortable and well laid out. Great location and great price for location. Really helpful staff and easy to access.

Could have done with few more pots and pans in kitchen and needed more toilet roll and things like bin bags and cleaning products available considering 6 people were staying.
