Birmingham City Centre, 2-bedroom Apartment

Great location in an iconic building by Central Station and the Bullring. Lovely stylish flat, comfy beds.

One of the bedroom windows was tricky to close making it a little noisy at night. You need to boost the hot water before going to bed which is a little fiddly but the host's instructions were clear. The provision of coffee pods and dishwasher tablets would have been a nice touch.

20% off at EL&N Cafe was a great touch for breakfast

No allocated parking but considering City Centre location that was always going to be unlikely. There are however a number of parking places nearby so that’s fine.

Spacious apartment in a good location.

Unfortunately, our stay was not perfect. The refrigerator was broken on arrival and we were not informed in advance, which was a significant issue as we were travelling with a child and needed to store milk and food. We were told it had broken the day before and no repair was arranged, so we had to wedge the door shut ourselves. Organization was poor, as we repeatedly had to ask how basic facilities such as heating and hot water worked. During our stay, the owner also requested access to the apartment to collect items. We agreed but felt quite uncomfortable. The cot provided for our child was misrepresented and unusable, as it had no mattress. Additionally, parking in the area is very difficult, so paid car parks are required (we were got informed about this after the booking) .
