Unsatisfactory

The location was great, walking distance to the centre. Both the girl who showed us around the property and the lad who came to reset the electricity were both lovely

The key fob from the car park to the property didn’t work so we had to keep walking all the way around which was really annoying. The heating didn’t work in the main part of the property, which at this time of year made it very cold and not a great experience when coming in from a day shopping and doing the Christmas markets. The electric tripped and we weren’t able to reset it as it was in a locked cupboard or go out as we’d all had showers and couldn’t dry our hair to go out, when the lad got there to reset the electric it continuously repeated tripping, we eventually didn’t use any sockets in the kitchen which then stopped the issue but ment we couldn’t even make breakfast before going out. And the property needed cleaning, it didn’t look like it had been hoovered properly in a long time. There was a build up of mould around every window.

The property and service were very good. The flat was clean, sufficiently spacious, and I liked that the kitchen was usable, with condiments, washing up stuff, and even an oven glove/tea towel so we could use the oven.

There was no hot water for the first 24 hours of my stay. Getting two kids washed in cold water was a challenge. The team got this fixed for the second night. If there had been hot water throughout, I would have given this a higher rating. This was my only complaint.

Very minor things but couldn't get the grill to work in the oven and the sofa was not very comfortable to sit and chill.

Great location, easy check in and check out. The apartment was well equipped and very clean. Free WiFi and controllable heating.

The furnishings were getting tired and the beds not that comfy. We also couldn’t get the shower above Luke warm even though there was plenty of hot water from the taps.

Location perfect, apartment very disappointing.

Lack of directions. Badly stained carpets and lack of comfortable seating. Lack of basic requirements such as glasses etc. bathroom clean but apartment lacking any form of comfort.

Beyond disappointing.

The carpets had stains on in various places, furniture was worn to the point it was threadbare, window in living room unsafe with small children as no key to lock, unnecessary signs everyone about not vaping which didn’t make it feel very welcoming and mould around the windows. We left after 1 night and booked into a hotel as the standard was in no way up to what people should pay for, or that was advertised.

Excellent location, excellent value for money, easy to book. Would definitely stay there again if visiting Birmingham and would definitely recommend. Great little apartment, centrally located with everything on the doorstep.

Location is an absolute 5 ⭐. The property is also well prepped for the guests. Everything you might need has been thought of and supplied.

The lack of TV or any audio visual system. I understand that this is not included in the amenities list. So read the small print people In the end we didn't need it as much but the absence of it when we did, was jaring.
