Perfect stay, perfect location, very nice house, and amazing Host
The location is simply unbeatable - 10 minutes walk to Birmingham City Center. Everything you could possibly need is within walking distance. The convenience of being so well-connected to Birmingham city center while enjoying the peaceful streets of Moseley made this the perfect base for my visit.
The host is amazing and sets high standards for hospitality. Their communication was very quick and decent from booking through checkout.
The property itself is spotlessly clean in every corner. The attention to detail is remarkable and everything was clean and well maintained.
I wouldn’t hesitate to book again and recommend this house to anyone visiting Birmingham.

Shambolic
Unfortunately we did not have a good stay at 14 Windrush Grove. There were many things that contributed to this (see bullet points below). Had loads more photos but looks like it only allows me to upload 4. This property is not in a state to be rented out, there is a lot of work and maintenance that needs to be done. Property had sold sign out the front so maybe it was put up to rent before examining properly clearly? They originally stated they would compensate us, however after the stay they went rather quiet and took a long time to reply to us. I have had to keep chasing them. They then decided not to compensate us, claiming that the shower rail falling down was our own fault and that we should have paid for these damages. Quite ridiculous when the rail was resting on a measly bit of tape. They then accused us of deliberately not stating that we had pets and of avoiding the pets fee. Their page clearly states that dogs are allowed with no extra fees.
- [ ] Bins overflowing on arrival, rubbish all over the floor, it was extremely smelly outside of the property front door.
- [ ] Couldn’t get WiFi or tv to work (tv only works with WiFi). Both worked for a short period of time Friday evening then stopped again. The lack of WiFi unfortunately hugely affected our stay as we needed the connection to complete work and meet deadlines. We communicated with the property throughout and unfortunately this was not fixed.
- [ ] Grass very overgrown, coat hangers and plastic objects all amongst the grass. We had to remove it due to our dogs.
- [ ] Mouldy sock and plastic straw was sticking out halfway under the sofa.
- [ ] No toaster - you would expect this in a “fully equipped kitchen”. There are only extra large saucepans to cook with.
Bathroom upstairs
- [ ] Shower curtain and rail fell down whilst being opened to get out of the shower.
- [ ] The rail that holds the shower head is loose so you cannot adjust the shower head without it falling apart.
