Celaka Birmingham Central apartment, Free Indoor Parking

Having access to a planned parking spot, especially in the middle of Birmingham, is such a great selling point of this flat. Having the balcony helps open up the space and stops you feeling boxed in. Pretty much everything you need access to is within walking distance. We planned to have a meal at Moo Ming Chinese before booking in, and my partner, who has osteoarthritis in both knees, managed the relatively short stumble from the complex to the venue and back again. They supplied some fans to help with the extreme heatwave that was hitting the UK at the time, which was a great help in not melting away over the weekend. The water jugs in the fridge were a blessing as well. The place was well laid out & clean. No major issues with the accommodation or the key collection process. Overall, a good experience, and somewhere that we may look to use again in the future.

I don't like being negative about anywhere that we stay, so I am trying to be more 'constructive criticism' instead of outright negative nagging. As good as it was to see a varied choice of breakfast cereals in the cupboards and the supplied tea and coffee, might I suggest looking at single serve cereal boxes instead of refilling containers, as nobody except the person refilling them knows how long the cereal has been in there. The same for the various jars and containers of sauces and other condiments. Great idea in theory, but having open containers might cause some folks to think again about using them. You may want to take a look at the door shelves in the fridge, as at least one of them felt so flimsy, I avoided putting anything on it in case it broke. I understand that internet and streaming services are not always a given, but the internet stability seems to be an issue. Whether that's a provider problem or a speed problem, I'm not sure. We would be watching something on either the TV or our own tablets and the stream would simply stop as the connection dropped for a few minutes. Eventually we were using our phones as hotspots for our tablets to use for access. Nothing that was detrimental to our stay, but just some things to take into consideration.

Very central location giving easy access to the city. The apartment is roomy and well equiped. The rooms are quiet and access is secure through a manned reception area.

The location is perfect. Walking distance from the bull ring and where the apartments are located there are nice food spots.

When we arrived I was told someone else was in the apartment I booked. The apartment itself was not 100% clean I did in fact have to wipe down the kitchen surfaces, tables, chairs and clean the bath. The fridge was not 100% clean and the bedding had stains. There was a lot of dust too which I also had to clean.
