Nice property, nice location, happy guests

The pool table was a big hit for us. We had a lot of fun with it. Lovely and easily accessible location. Felt very homely. Was clean and had very good facilities. Host was very helpful when I spoke to him and was friendly too

Two mattresses were too soft and not very comfy.Sofa settee was dirty and stained. Could fo with fixing some chair covers. Overgrown garden, saw a big fox

Good sized bedrooms with everything we needed for our stay. Modern looking interior and very clean

Some tiling was away from the wall in the kitchen, and the boiler wasn’t working as it needed topping up with water on our first day. Luckily, one of our group knew how to resolve this.

Misadvertised, dirty property

Property misadvertised as 3 bathrooms but was actually - 1 bathroom, 1 shower room. And 1 separate toilet. The property was in an appalling state, far below acceptable standards. Issues included: Dirty sofa Broken chair footrest Garden not fit for use Boiler not working – house cold for 2 nights Shower in bathroom slow to heat No working locks on separate toilet or shower room Radiator valves broken in some rooms, no heating control Hole in a drawer Missing blind slats – no privacy at night with lights on Burnt light fitting – safety concern Mouldy grout in the shower Water not draining from the sink in the toilet room Dirt around the plugs in sink

Unclean, smelled of damp, unfit for stay. We left early.

Nothing. Dirty, smelled of damp. Not clean.

We booked for two nights but left after the first because the property was in such poor condition. The downstairs bedroom smelled strongly of damp, the bathroom had mould, the kitchen was dirty (including a filthy hob and washing-up bowl), and there were marks, dust, and even chewing gum stuck to furniture. We reported everything through Booking.com with photos. The host may say we didn’t contact them directly, but the property should never have been handed over in this state in the first place. Not fit for a comfortable stay.

Convenient for a quick trip to visit the attractions

Convenient location - 10mins to anywhere you want to get to, we were there for family attractions. It was clean enough but requires some tlc like a student house so makes it feel grubbier than it probably was. Quite liked feeling like a student again! Kids loved the air hockey table. Only four of us so not an issue for us, but there’s no table to eat at and only 4 bar stools so this should be a consideration if sleeping 8.

The showers are terrible! Either no pressure or amazing pressure but it only had two temperatures - freezing or scolding! Also, very hot house, bathroom rads on all the time on a hot day so had to have all the windows open which was a bit noisy at night, luckily the kids slept through it though.

Would 100% stay again! Big fun house!

Everything is perfect in my eyes. Very big house. pool table. parking is spot on can fit easy 4+ cars on. its around £150 a night and that is very cheap for what you are getting if you and your friends went with 8 of you paying this is £18.75 a night! and no hotel can beat that price! its a really really good price! Also i seen in other reviews saying the area is not great. Area is not a problem at all. and so close to centre of Birmingham £12 for a Uber! Thank you.

Spacious place but in need of TLC

Pros: very quiet location and no noise on an evening. Nice sofa with reclining seats and decent TV with Netflix. Cooking facilities were good and clean and bonus of washing machine. Beds were comfy. Place was spacious with cupboards for food in the kitchen and space in bedrooms for clothes. Billiards table was a big hit! Cons: upstairs bedroom opposite bathroom didn’t seem to have a working radiator and was too cold to sleep in. Upstairs shower would only run cold. Broken tiles in kitchen were hazardous. Outdoor drain seemed blocked. Garden wasn’t safe for kids to play in (fence blown down and uneven flagging without an edge on one side). Messaged about these issues and only received a reply about thermostat, other issues were not addressed sadly.

Worst air bnb I’ve ever stayed at and I have stayed in a lot of them all over the country

Do Not Stay here !!! 🤮House was located on a dirty housing estate 15 minutes drive from city centre settee was filly and got a big dip in the end seats wood work in kitchen and under breakfast bar was dirty back garden dirty block drains a dirty towels in a bag in back garden broken tiles that they said was done on last visit they were definitely been broken a long time ago dirty windows and sills felt like the bar stools would break if sat on dirty bathroom shower cubicle dirty mouldy leaking shower blinds were dirty and some pieces missing no blinds at kitchen window snooker table was tiny not what it looked like on pictures tiny snooker cue s bed sheets torn dirty worn mattress and I will stop there but could keep going.

Came up here shopping, my granddaughter‘s birthday and we’ve all had an excellent time that I’m coming up again beginni

Loved everything about the property I’m disabled so I had a bedroom downstairs and a bathroom that was a win-win for me

Only problem is the showers they either come out scorching hot or freezing cold that needs to be sorted out before I come back again
