lovely stay

The apartment was so unique. certainly more modern than other accommodations I have viewed / stayed in Riomaggiore. The host was helpful and friendly. The apartment is 4 levels so we chose to just keep our luggage on the ground floor and be strategic about how we shifted around our things. It had a nice coffee machine and pods supplied. The bathroom was large and spa bath was great for relaxing. No night time noise encountered. I saw someone left a review about parking. In my opinion parking in La spezia is a much better choice. From what we saw and heard from others parking is over double in Rio and can be tight / more risk of damaging car. La spezia train station parking was an affordable secure choice and so easy to catch the 5 min train straight to Rio.

One of the best and unique apartments I’ve ever stayed! Lots of stairs, but BEAUTIFUL. Location was very central, very comfortable place and helpful staff! Highly recommend!!

Parking

The information about the parking is wrong. The only reason why we booked this place, was that it was possible to pay for parking. We also communicated our interest of parking to the owner as we booked, and where then noticed that it was not possible to reserve parking in advance. On the day we where supposed to drive to the place, the owener instead advised us to park the car in La Spetzia. Confused, we ended up following the advice, which did cost us more in parking, train tickets both ways, flexibility and time, and the whole point of staying in Roimaggiore lost its meaning. In Riomaggiore we met others that took the chance, and not only did they find parking, it was free. Bitter money, but otherwise, great location, owner and place!

Great apartment, nice owner and wonderful jaccuzi

Location was great, not far from the station. The owner met us at the train station and helped us with our luggage. He was extremely nice and gave us information about the village and great tips. The apartment is great, specially the balcony and the bathroom that it has a rustic feeling. Great jaccuzi.

It is not cheap but considering where you are understandable.

Clean, luxurious modern room. However, poor sound proofing and check-in procedure.

The property itself is very luxurious, clean and modern. It is well located within the town and has a nice rooftop terrace. However, the sound proofing of the property is not very good, you hear everything outside as the windows are old and do not make a good seal. There was construction going on in the building which made it hard to relax. We also had issues checking in, which was quite stressful. No check-in procedure was communicated despite sending several messages on Booking and calling the property managers. They should work to automate the check-in procedure for guest by sending a code 24-48h in advance as other properties do.

Highly recommended for singles or couples

Great location, accomodation is easily accessible on foot from the train station at Riomaggiore and convenient to explore the Cinque Terre. Accomodation is equipped with everything you need (note: there is no kitchen) and has an exceptionally large bathroom. Nice, private roof terrace to relax or have breakfast.
