L'emplacement est très calme, en face de la gare et proche de tout. L'hôte Daniel est très sympa ! Il a pris le temps de nous conseiller sur les éléments de la ville et les choses a visiter . La petite terrasse privative est très agréable le soir avec vue sur la mer.

Les 2 lits ne sont pas très confortables, notamment le lit d'appoint si vous êtes plus que 2.

Perfect little base in Riomaggiore

I stayed at Jolly Roger Riomaggiore in their 1BR deluxe apartment and absolutely loved it. The place was cute, very pleasant, clean, and inviting – exactly what you want after a long day exploring Cinque Terre. It’s in a great location, just about a 5-minute walk from Riomaggiore station and around 10 minutes to the Marina, making it super accessible whether you’re arriving by train or heading out for a boat trip. Fulvia is an amazing host – incredibly kind and helpful. I especially appreciated her quick assistance when I got locked out of the apartment (travel mishaps happen!). Overall, I couldn’t thank her enough for making my stay so easy and comfortable. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a cosy, convenient place in Riomaggiore.

If I had to mention one downside, it would be the stairs going up to the apartment – carrying my luggage up was definitely a mini workout. But come on, this is Europe and a few stairs are part of the charm! Consider it a free leg day before all the focaccia and gelato.

Basic but very convenient place to stay

Lack of an oven or microwave and we had to ask for wine glasses as there was only one in the cupboard when we arrived. This was sorted out instantly, though

More or less acceptable apartment in a beautiful place.

The location was quite good because the train station was near the apartment. There was a coffee machine in the kitchen. There were two separate rooms. The terrace was a nice place to have a breakfast. The host was nice.

The apartment smelled a bit moldy. It was very cold when we arrived. Probably nobody was in the apartment before. There were air cons in the rooms but they were not enough to heat the corridor and the kitchen. It is probably not a problem in summer but in April it is. The design was very old fashioned, most probably renovated in the last century. The kitchen was poorly equipped. No ladle, only one glass for the wine. The knives didn’t cut. The bathroom was very small. It was not possible to close the window. The wind opened it. We had to support it from inside. The rooms were OK on the other hand I didn’t like the stickers on the wall. The apartment above us was under construction and it was quite noisy.

Perfect location in Riomaggiore

We had a great stay in Riomaggiore, Daniele is super friendly, the apartment is clean, kitchen well equipped and only 2 minutes walk from the train station. We loved having our breakfasts on the terrace.

Everything was good apart from not having the flat cleaned during our one week stay, the towels and bedding got changed only once when we asked for.

Pleasant

The location is great because it's close to the station, the apartment is spacious and clean, the bedroom is comfortable, you have everything you need in the furnished kitchen. The terrace/balcony is also great because you partially see the sea even though we didn't use it and the people running the property were friendly.

The fact that there were no extra sheets/blankets for the sofa bed as we didn't want to sleep together (main reason for booking this place). But the main problem was the noise. You can hear everything from the upstairs neighbours. They watch TV reaaaaally loud and late at night (even after midnight), (and you can also hear when they walk). I thought that maybe I could sleep more in the morning but no, they turned the TV on again quite early. We stayed at four different locations in the Cinque Terre; and this one was the most expensive one, and unfortunately our least favourite.

Strategic location

The apartment is comfortable and it has everything you need. Although it's close to the train station, the noise from there is not a problem at all. At the same time, it is in a strategic position: in only 5 minutes walking, you can easily reach the centre.

Wonderful stay with easy connection to the other villages. Great hiking and swimming (Manarola).

Location is fantastic, not on the busiest street and super close to the railway station but no railway noise. It's nice to take walks to the Cypress Tree view point and then around to the Main Street. Keep in mind that the road has a pretty decent incline and it takes 30 steps to reach the apartment .... a challenge to anyone with knee problems. :). The deck has a great view. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and speak English. We had a great stay!

We had an amazing stay in Riomaggiore thanks to Fulvia and her friends. I don't typically write lenghty reviews but this I feel like one is warranted here :-) There was an unfortunate issue with the apartment initially planned for us (plumbing related) which was particularly bad news since when we got notified, literally no other place was available in the entire Cinque terre and even in neighboring towns. Thankfully our host managed to find a last minute solution and had us stay in a beautiful apartment with a gorgeous terrace with an amazing sea view (with an added discount too). Even though our experience was probably not "typical", I can say that Fulvia is one the nicest, responsive and available host we met and that she went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay - despite the unlucky situation. I absolutely recommend that you stay with her if you're looking to visit the Cinque Terre!

PARADISE!! Such a great place!!!

I can’t express in words how much we loved this place! We didn’t want to leave!! The balcony with the sea view is priceless, and the apartment itself is really comfy and in a great location (just a few steps away from the train station and center). It’s better than staying in the Main Street which is very noisy - this place is quiet and peaceful. Moreover, Fulvia our hostess was super sweet and helpful. We would totally recommended to anyone visiting Riomaggiore. Don’t miss it!!! Great value for the money ☺️
