Bed bugs, malicious management ownership, nightmare experience on my honeymoon thanks to Agave

Location is nice - a ton of steps up to room. Balcony with hot tub with great view of sunset.

AVOID AT ALL COST - BED BUGS, POOR OWNERSHIP/MANAGEMENT - First night we arrived for our honeymoon I was awoken with terrible itching at 3:00AM. Upon looking in the mirror I had numerous insect bites to my lower back, buttocks, thighs consistent with bed bugs. The following morning my wife and I sent photos of bugs found on the sheets, insect bites I experienced. Barbara the manager came to the room later that afternoon, rolled the sheets into a ball on the corner of the mattress and applied "Lavender scented spray" to the mattress - that was all that was done. I have great photos and videos of their bed bug treatment plan. No new accommodations offered, no mattress, not even new sheets. Better yet the owner completely refused to refund - even partial. Absolutely unacceptable and not suitable for living conditions. Due to this my wife and I unfortunately had to find last minute arrangements and cancel our stay at this place which was an absolute nightmare. The owners response, directly from WhatsApp "I'm sorry, but the situation presented does not warrant a refund." The owner stated according to Barbara that we should stay in the room and if we decide to leave they will not award a refund as leaving early would be our decision. UNACCEPTABLE. The owner REFUSED to speak with me directly regarding the situation and Barbara's response after it was mismanaged was "I am just an employee" therefore unable to provide further help and refused to provide contact to the owner. I explained thoroughly lavender scented perfume spray is not appropriate management of bed bugs, happy to provide appropriate recommendations for treatment considering my wife and I are physicians who treat and are well aware of what bed bugs look and how bites/injury presents. - the most upsetting and disturbing part was after the fact when I notified booking.

Panorama incredibile e posizione senza paragoni, davvero bellissima.

Attenzione prima di prenotare: sebbene la stanza sia definita “deluxe”, non vi è indicata alcuna distinzione tra le stanze 301 e 302. La 301 è una stanza molto piccola con un bagno. La 302 è quella con il giardino. Purtroppo - come molti - ho prenotato per la 302 e mi è stata data la 301. Dovrebbero indicarlo!

The location was excellent. The room was well lit, quiet given the location, and the bed was very comfortable. The directions to the room were easy to follow.

The shower didn't drain well so you had to shut it off and let it drain so you didn't flood the floor.

A Dream Stay in Riomaggiore! Our stay in Riomaggiore was absolutely unforgettable thanks to this incredible room. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views — truly something out of a postcard. Waking up each morning to the sound of the waves and the colorful village below was pure magic. The room itself was super spacious, beautifully designed, and immaculately clean. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and more. The highlight was definitely the private hot tub overlooking the water — the perfect spot to unwind after exploring the Cinque Terre. The location couldn’t have been better — right in the heart of Riomaggiore, steps from the marina, shops, and restaurants. Despite being so central, it still felt peaceful and private. This place exceeded all our expectations. If you’re looking for a memorable and luxurious stay on the Italian coast, look no further. We can’t wait to come back!

The pillows were not at all comfortable but I think I am noticing a trend with that in my travels through Italy. The crowds getting to the room were tough to navigate but it was worth it.

Beautiful views, cozy room and friendly staff!

The view from the room was stunning and romantic. Staff was great and assisted with anything we needed without hesitation when it came to room essentials, Definitely went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable.

No complaints on our end. The place exceeded our expectations. Keep in mind that staff is not directly on site, but is only a quick phone call or text away to assist you.

The location of this room is absolutely magnificent- it might have the best view in all of cinque terre! The woman who greeted us was extremely helpful, friendly etc.! We would highly recommend this room to anyone. If you can spend the extra dollars, the room with the hot tub has the most incredible patio of all time.

We really enjoyed staying here and would absolutely stay again - hopefully in the near future! Everything was as expected and honestly the balcony was even more so. The only thing is that we did see a few ants in the room but clean otherwise.

Stunning sea view

Beautiful room and very clean Shower was wonderful with sea view. Fridge and also kettle and coffee machine. Towels for beach. The balcony was amazing and had grass and plants. The hot tub was fabulous and really warm and with lights and radio. The sea view was absolutely stunning and we were on the end / edge of the cliff. We had a amazing time and will definitely return. Thank you so much.

The room was very elegant and clean and the view from the windows was just breathtaking, the view was actually the most amazing part of our stay! There was complimentary coffee and drinks available which was a very nice gesture. Very nice stay in Riomaggiore!

Due to the fact that it is located above a busy viewpoint, there were a lot of people around which made it a bit noisy at times. We thought we are getting a jacuzzi but apparently there is only 1 room with it, this could be a bit more clear on the site because the photos were a bit misleading and that was a bit disappointing on arrival but the host really still tried to make us feel comfortable so we appreciated that. Could offer some kind of breakfast service in the room, that could be nice.
