Stellio Affittacamere - Guest House

Location was amazing overlooking the harbour. Was quiet with double glazed windows. We were amazed by the quantity and quality of the fridge. All gratis. The icing on the cake though was Roberto. What a gem of a host. Met us at the door on arrival. He even helped get our bags to a hotel on Porto Venere while we walked the final Leg of our cinque Terre oddessey.

We stayed at Stellio Affittacamere in Riomaggiore and couldn't have been happier. The room was amazing: spotlessly clean, comfortable, and in a great location for exploring the village and the rest of the Cinque Terre. What truly made our stay, though, was Roberto, our host. He genuinely couldn't do enough for us. As no cars are allowed in the village, he met us at the top and took our luggage down to the apartment for us, which was a huge help after a long journey. Throughout our stay, he was full of brilliant recommendations for places to eat, every one of which was a hit, and he even organised breakfast for us. It's rare to find a host who goes so far above and beyond, and his warmth and helpfulness made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. We'd recommend Stellio to anyone visiting Riomaggiore and would love to return. Grazie, Roberto!

We loved our stay! Having coffee or a cocktail on our balcony overlooking the steep street to the water was the perfect start and end to our day. The room is in a historic building and the renovation is tasteful & thoughtful. The train is steps away and it's an easy walk to the breathtaking Via dell'Amore. Other reviews mentioned Roberto and his helpfulness with the luggage - it was a game changer :) Additionally, his communication and recommendations were A+. Wonderful!

Roberto went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and easy as possible. He met us at the train station platform to help us with our bags and showed us everything in Riomaggiore that we could possibly need to make our trip to the Cinque Terre the highlight of our trip. When it was time for us to leave he even helped us bring our bags back to the platform our train leaving Riomaggiore. We booked the room without the balcony and it was beautiful; Everything was updated, very clean, had air conditioning and WiFi available. Even without the balcony the view of the marina was stunning. When we return for another visit we will definitely try to book this property again, and highly recommend it to others.
