Perfect place for visiting Riomaggiore

The apartment was impeccable, very cozy and had everything we needed for a perfect stay in Riomaggiore! The location was ideal. And the best part was meeting William, the engineer, and Alessandra, the owners of the apartment, who were extremely kind and warm with us!

Home away from home

We did love everything. Cinque Terre is a beautiful place that unfortunately is suffering under overtourism, the location of AWrooms however was in a much quieter area with less tourists around and yet still very close to hiking trails and the harbour. And the owners did make us feel very welcome. The apartment itself was lovely, it had all the italian vibes with views to narrow streets and clothlines hanging from your windows. The breakfast was provided in the room, felt very local. In general staying in AWrooms made us feel like we actually lived there.

Bibi,snack, welcoming host! Great location, very quiet compared to the other city. The host will guide you to your hotel with clear directions. If you are climbing stairs, you are at the wrong path

William met us at the train station to help us with our bags. I enjoyed doing laundry. There was a large selection of breakfast items. The hosts were very helpful.

Our hosts were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable! The room was spacious and clean and provided everything we needed. I couldn't recommend this stay more.

Getting to this location with luggage was a challenge. This is to be expected for Riomaggiore. Our host provided excellent instructions on how to get there from the train.

Lovely, beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable.

Clean, quiet, and very homey. We love the small apartment and how everything is arranged. Alessandra and William just live upstairs and greeted us along with Bibi their cat. All four of us slept comfortably. Alessandra and William provided breakfast (bread, cheese, ham, butter, jam, yogurt, corn flakes, and milk) with toaster and coffee machine. Shower pressure was also good. Room has air condition which you need after long walk during summer. WiFi is very good. Alessandra won’t even allow me to throw garbage which is just outside there house. There is elevator lift nearby for your luggage but it under maintenance when we were there. There is a church very near outside the apartment for a night stroll overlooking the houses.

Highlight of our trip

Fantastic!!! We loved it so. The cutest apartment that had so many cute touches, we lived the aesthetic ( breakfast in the fridge, slippers, clips for laundry, cute decor, all kitchen supplies ) the cat Bibi - so cute but most of all the kindest most gracious hosts. Alessandra and William were the kindest and most helpful hosts. Alessandra your limoncello was divine . Thanks so much for hosting us!!!!

Friendly welcome. Fresh and clean apartment. Perfect location

The accommodation, especially the bedroom is spacious and fresh. The owner - Alexandra was lovely and very accommodating and friendly. Giving is advice on la ruta dell’ amore and allowing us to leave our luggage with her.

Everything was perfect so just a tiny critique - I would have liked a blanket to cover with at night not just the sheet and top cover. But I do feel the cold more than most.

Our wonderful holiday in Riomaggorie

AWroom was the perfect place for our little holiday to Cinque Terra. William and Alessandra were such wonderful hosts. Their arrival instructions were perfect and granting access to the arrival elevator was so wonderful. We so enjoyed our stay at their beautiful property and would highly recommend if you are traveling to Riomaggiore. We would definitely come for another visit again R&M

AWroom was an incredible stay and the best way to end our time in Cinque Terre!

Alessandra and William were excellent hosts, graciously letting us arrive early and store our bags. They had great restaurant recommendations and tips for how to best enjoy the area. Wish we were staying at AWroom for more than just one night!

This property was very beautiful and charming, located right in the heart of Riomaggiore! The hosts were very friendly and welcomed us into their home. They made sure the place was very clean, and they went above and beyond to provide us food and bath supplies. We loved our time here!

A great stay in Riomaggiore

This B&B rooms are part of the owners house. Take the elevator up from train station or walk the slope. it's away from the hustle & bustle on "Main Street" so very quiet. The way the house is built makes it very cool when hot outside. You can get a nice breeze through cos windows & door opens in different directions, there is also A/C. You got your own kitchen with everything you need. continantal brekfast in fridge for you to lay out. Bedroom large and beds comfy. Bathroom very good. plenty of storage space. A clean airy home from home place. If you have mobility problems be aware there is stairs with railings to go down to the rooms. THe hosts are very welcoming and provide practical information about Riomaggiore and the other villages in Cinque Terre

Quiet place in Rio

A quiet place of Rio. You can either take the lift from train station (free of charge with QR code) or walk downhill to town. Rio is a smaller and quieter village. The rooms provide everything you need. Very good host and we like Bebe (the cat)

I would give AWroom my highest recommendation.

Unique, bright, roomy, comfortable, exceptionally clean, large shower, kitchen stocked with a few snack goodies including bottled water, American and Italian coffee pods. Easy access to the main street, yet quiet. Wonderfully friendly and helpful hosts. We would most definitely stay there again.

We really loved the location. Riomaggiore was a quieter and beautiful spot in Cinque Terre and Alessandra and William’s place was close and accessible to the train station. Alessandra was kind and helpful and we greatly appreciated the amazing breakfast spread that was provided. Bibi was a lovely addition as we missed our own cats!

Quiet, Centrally located self contained apartment in Riomaggiore…

We were pleasantly surprised by AWRooms as we arrived a little unsure of what to but we absolutely loved our time in this self-contained apartment. It was pristinely clean, well appointed, private and quiet. It is well located only a few minutes walk to the centre of town in one direction and train station in the other direction. Alessandra & William did everything possible to make us comfortable and their communication was first class. Highly recommended!

Riomaggiore is a definite must to visit with a stay at AWRoom.

We loved everything about this charming accommodation… so quiet and peaceful. William and Alessandra were simply the kindest hosts. So helpful and attentive to whatever we asked for or needed help with. Their sweet cat ‘BiBi’ was a delight. Having access to a washing machine was great! The beautiful flowers that Alessandra would tend to every morning and the birds singing outside our room was lovely. We would definitely stay here again if we were visit Riomaggiore again. Thank you William and Alessandra for everything, you truly made our stay in your beautiful accommodation very special.

We LOVED everything about this property. From the time we arrived Alessandra was wonderful. Our room was so beautiful. Large, clean and comfy. Our breaky for the next day was already in our kitchen and was plenty. Alessandra went above and beyond. The first night the rains arrived a lot and ever restaurant closed early. We hadn't eaten and when we arrived back at the accommodation, she came down to us and asked if she could make us dinner. She's so kind. I'd highly recommend this property to stay at. It's in a great location too. Amazing.

Highly recommend staying at AWroom since it is a great value at a really good location.

William and Alessandra were the most gracious hosts for our one-night stay in Riomaggiore in Cinque Terre. This was a 25th birthday trip for my twin daughters. Property was a little bit of a walk but everything is there. The elevator from the train station up to the main path was out of order, so if that is working it makes the walk easier. William messaged to let us know of this before we arrived and offered someone to help with bags if needed. The room was immaculate, had AC, and a kitchenette. They left all the goodies so you can have a quick breakfast before your day of fun. And since we had the Nessun Dorma Pesto Experience booked (highly recommend!) for the day we were leaving, Alessandra was nice to hold our bags after checkout.
