Nice place, not to expensive (nor cheap either). Good communication. Clean.

Good location and views , you really cannot be any closer to the sea, you would fall into...

I am Italian, and with family in Liguria (Genova), so Cinqueterre for me isn't a "new touristic destination". It was for my wife, and that's the reason to stayed there for one night. That been said, I am VERY aware of how complicated street numerations can be in Italy (specially in places like this), the instructions to finding the place could be more reference related: like for example find "this" restaurant and walk right/left 50 mtrs. With a point of reference everything is easier, particularly with overpopulated touristic places like this. Photos are good, instruction were good. I would just add that detail. Unrelated to the place/owner, a very obnoxious drunk American woman tourist was yelling/laughing until 130 am at the pub across the boat launch, completely unaware and careless about anybody else...., and made sleeping almost impossible. If you experience that, yell back and shut them up !!!! or call Carabinieri.

Beautiful stay at Orto Al Mare

Clean, great shower and pressure. Water and juice on the fridge when we arrived. THE VIEW is worth all the steps to get to the room. Beautiful view of the ocean and Riomaggiore from two windows!

Beautiful place difficult stay.

It is not the fault of the room provider and we should have been More aware that this destination is not for anyone over 50 yrs old or who has any mobility issues or has a suitcase weighing more than 5 kgs. There are hundreds of huge steps, thousands of people, partying til the early hours right outside the room…

It would have been nice to at least meet the room provider. All very anonymous. If you stay here one night is Plenty.

Lovely stay with an unforgettable view!

The absolute highlight of this apartment is its location — simply incredible. You can just sit back with a glass of wine and watch the sunset without even needing to leave. Sleeping with the sound of waves in the background is a rare luxury, and this place offers exactly that. The apartment itself isn’t large, but it’s cozy, clean, and has everything you might need: a coffee maker, wine glasses, mini fridge, and even a hairdryer. It’s thoughtfully equipped and perfect for a short stay. I would absolutely recommend it for anyone visiting Riomaggiore.

Since the apartment is located just above the village’s most popular spot, I can imagine it gets quite loud, especially on weekends. I stayed on a Monday, and it was a peaceful evening, so it really depends on the timing. Also, the check-in time at 3:00 PM feels a bit late, and the 10:00 AM check-out is rather early — though that seems to be common in Italy.

The location is incredible!!! Right at the tip of Riomaggiore, where it has the best view of the town, yet you’re just steps away from everything going on. 10/10 would definitely return.

Sea and sunset view

Room overlooking the sea. Amazing view of the sunset. Apart feom the coffee and snacks that were left for us, the was also soft drinks and water with no additional cost. Room vey nicely decorated and in an excellent location, short walking distance from train station

Only comment is that we received arrival instructions already during our travel and sent only via the booking app, so it was easy to miss them, This made finding the place more difficult and we then had to call the property to get access information.

Amazing location, right on the water with panoramic views of the ocean and city.

The room is located right off a hot tourist viewpoint so there are people out front of the door all day. At night the noise from locals partying is a nuisance, but that's what you sacrifice for the A+ location.

Best accommodation of our trip to Europe!

This property had the best view we experienced in Europe!!! I honestly don’t feel like the pictures do it justice. We were so amazed when we opened up the windows to see the beautiful harbor for the first time. Absolutely incredible. The room was really clean and the bed was comfy. The Aircon was really effective and the bathroom was nice too. We enjoyed staying jn Riomaggiorie over the other towns as it was quieter in nature. At night, people come to the rocks below to watch the sunset. If you stay here you can do that from your room! Honestly don’t give it a second thought, you won’t regret it.

Nothing against the property, but be prepared for lots of stairs. We came from the train station and had 30kg each of luggage which was pretty tough to get to the accommodation. It’s not terrible, but I’m just giving you a warning as we didn’t really know beforehand. It’s not all bad though as it is completely worth the walk when you arrive! Some people mentioned teenagers drinking underneath the accommodation. We had this but there is a strict curfew at 11pm so it’s not bad at all.
