Room was lovely, looks recently revamped. My only criticism was the noise, could hear everything from reception and staircase, should have replaced room door in revamp. They also have a nice coutyard to the side but this has not been loved, get rid of dead plants and a tidy up would turn this into a little gem.

We had such a lovely stay here, very conveniently situated to explore Pisa or beyond as right near the train station. Staff very helpful & rooms very clean. Quite basic but all you need for a city break.

A great, one night stay at Hotel Maria and the staff were great. I arrived off the train and the location of the hotel is incredible - right outside the station doors! I went over to drop my bags off so I could go and explore and the gentleman explained my room would be ready slightly earlier - a fantastic bonus. I was able to store my bags and went off exploring before checking in. Check in was quick and simple and everything was explained by the young man who helped me. The room was great - a single room/bed and the bathroom was huge - it was all perfect for a base to explore Pisa!

Within 20 minutes off the train I was able to getting into my room. And the Pisa Tower is 20 minutes walk for me. Being the fact that this is near the train station central, and that motorcycle is now the new trend, it is quite noisy until 10pm. Other than that, it’s all perfect for my trip.

Property was nice and the room was neat and clean, though the bathroom was very small and narrow. The staff were helpful and friendly but the hotel was a little noisy on the night. We could hear people in other rooms quite clearly so could hear hairdryers, shouting, coughing, running water etc which was a little distracting when trying to sleep.

Family run hotel and very welcoming. Ideal for solo traveller and only 100m from rail station and main bus centre for Pisa. Room is small but comfortable. Expect some town noise so wear ear plugs when sleeping. Highly recommend on price and location.

We were looking for a hotel for an overnight stay in Pisa before going on to Venice and what a find Hotel Maria was! A lovely little characterful place within metres of the railway station. We really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely choose this hotel again the next time we are in town. Walking distance to EVERYTHING! Situated almost perfectly center between the tower and the airport. It sits beside a nice piazza, right by the train station and at the end of a wonderful shopping street with the best of international and local shopping options. Dining options are less plentiful but within 1km walk, you so many great options.

Absolutely lovely staff who are very helpful, real cosy and at home feel to the place. No problems at all, room was very clean and was right infront of the train station for our day to Florence too. Walking distance to go everywhere you would want to in Pisa and only about 20/25 mins walk from the airport :)

You can order some coffees or breakfast in the morning from their small bar and also leave luggage, both great. Soundproofing not great though, but didn't bother us much as we were only there for a night and out for most of it. Good for a base when you're travelling elsewhere by train!
