Great hotel near the train station, but also in a quiet zone, good and clean room. Cafee machine in the room. Good atitude by the personal. The place is perfect for thouse who need to take train early in the morning.

A very nice, clean and comfortable hotel run by a very friendly team.

Our onlu complaint would be that it was quite noisyas there was no soundproofing..We cpuld hear people next door and also when planes went over it was very loud.

a lovely hotel in a perfect location

Perfect stay, just the one night stayed here. Location is spot on, right next to the station and a nice 15/20 min walk through the town to the main attractions. I had a ground floor room, very quiet considering! Would definitely return here, spotlessly clean. Cannot fault!

A great location to the station and just what we needed for the time

location was good for what we needed - Although a fair distance from the tourist sites but we didn't need this

The room was clean and tidy but felt it could have more lighting. We had a mosquito in the room which kept me awake as I could not locate it. The room was a little chilly so we did have to request a blanket

Brilliant location for the station. Very spacious room & excellent, comfortable bed mattress.

Basic, but good value for money

The gentleman who checked me in - very polite and helpful. Carried my luggage up to my room (there is not lift). The location - right next to the train station. Security - it felt very safe. They checked everyone that wanted to get in.

Lovely friendly family run hotel

Very close to Pisa Centrale station so easy to find. The staff were lovely and friendly on both times we stayed at the hotel, in fact we cancelled another hotel just so we could return to Hotel Maria again.

Some early morning traffic noise from the refuse wagon, but it's the same for everyone so to be expected.

Great spot, particularly if using Pisa as a base to travel to other cities via train.

Easy and fast check-in, great location a few metres from the train station, very friendly staff and good value for money.

The room I stayed in was affected a bit by external noise. From ~7am-9am it seemed like I was being occasionally awoke by the sound of chairs being dragged on a floor either above me, or adjacent. Similarly the ground floor rooms are a little loud from street traffic in the morning.

Family atmosphere

I chose this hotel basing on positive opinions, and was not disappointed. On the contrary, I felt very well there. The hotel is small, seems to be run by a family, and even if not, the atmosphere is like in a house of a large family. I was pleasantly surprised by the room - including minifridge and safebox - items that were not available in the next hotel I stayed in Rome, which was 4 star. There is a small garden in which one can enjoy planted herbes and citrus trees. Having breakfast there was really nice. The staff is very kind and helpful. The hotel is right next to the Pisa Centrale train station which is convenient if you travel by train. If you want to walk the city centre, it might take around 20 minutes. But if you would like to go to the seasinde in Marina di Pisa, bus stop of the bus no. 10 is also nearby.

I have been advised by my Italian friend not to walk on my own at night and not to carry a bag, as the surroudings of the train station are not safe in Pisa. As the days in June are long, I returned to the hotel before the sunset, so experienced no issues with safety.

Close proximity to train station and staff happy for us to leave bags with them at reception. Great shower and bathroom facilities, everything very clean. Had an issue with late check-in which staff dealt with quickly and efficiently. Very warm and friendly team!
