Lovely stay! It was a last minute booking due to the train strike and we couldn’t get out of La Spezia to get to Vience. The property let us check in early and was very accommodating. Room was amazing too!!

The property was beautiful! Having that indoor courtyard was absolutely stunning! The front door is really cool. The elevator is a bit sketchy, very small, but pretty cool. Lots of stairs, but worth the walk up. The area around the rental is very walkable, close to La Spezia Centrale, a grocery store, cafés galore and little shops. There were also a couple motorcycle shops that were in close proximity, which turned out to be a happy accident. All in all, would stay there again.

But bear in mind that me and my family hade a lot of stuff to bring with us due to a small infant baby - your experience will probably not be affected if you are adults and/or teens. Very basic. Close to the train station and supermarket nearby. The individual sent instructions via Whatsapp..easy to get into room. Small elevator. If you come at night , there is no light in the hallway to open the door. Ac did not work. Quick response. We were provided a standing fan. Supposedly an technician came the next day and said everything was ok but still thebac did not cool. Kept going on and off..very joy and stuffy for 2 nights. That was the main problem with the room.

We arrived after check-in time late night but they were able to quickly let us self check in the room after a very long day. We were able to get some rest. Don't make the same mistake and read descriptions carefully. Im so happy they were able to accommodate us even that late at night. It's also close to many shops and restaurants.

The stay was great, but it was Beatrice who really set this stage apart from the rest. Beatrice went above and beyond to to help us with some complications we encountered along the way that she had no obligation to get involved in. But when asking for her assistance in communicating with someone with whom we were having a language barrier, she stepped in and became our “problem solver.” Due to her efforts, she really made the difference in our vacation. Beatrice is a real gem!

It has cooking utensils, dishes, a stove, tea pot, fridge and a nice sized dine-in table for two people. La Spezia has a bigger city vibe, and somewhat of a hub for people heading to the more touristy spots, which made this location perfect for us to jump from site seeing to coming back to the room with some snacks purchased from the market in the plaza with ease. It was nice feeling like we were in actual Italy vs. tourist Italy. If we come back to La Spezia in the future we would stay here again.

1. this place is located right on the Main square 2. the room was very comfortable and clean 3. they gave one key to open the main gate, one to open the house, one to open my room and one to open the safe. it almost felt like it was my own home I was coming and going from 4. the guy that runs it doesn't speak English, but he had a native English-speaking person on the phone ready to answer any questions you may have. They were both SUPER NICE. and when the guy couldn't explain me something with words, he got a piece of paper and drew on it....he was awesome!! I know good service when I see it, and this one was one of the best!
