The old house is beautifully renovated and furnished with stylish, antique furniture. Our room with en suite bathroom was small, but very nice and perfectly adequate for one night. Our hostess was very nice, cooked us a wonderful dinner and shared quite a bit about Māori history and culture with us. Breakfast was prepared for the next day and we finished it ourselves. Thank you so much!!!

Great bed and it was clean. Beautiful view of the river and very quiet!
No working outlets in the bedroom . We had requested the dinner package, as the location is fairly remote with no restaurants in under an hour. Was told just before getting there that dinner that night was not available. They were having a bbq for her girlfriends also staying there.
