There is a lock on the main bathroom that would not open at times so couldn’t use the toilet or shower, not sure why it would lock itself.

It was great overall, only thing would like to mention that we were asked to bring our blankets, it was first time in Auckland and even in lower price per night we get nice cozy blankets, I think that should be added with may be reasonable increase in rent and if someone don't want to carry extra luggage for one night stay. Thanks for understanding.

Fantastic views. Great quiet place. We were late and had no reception where we were, so a bit worried about the 6pm office close. The wonderful staff gave good instructions via email on what to do so all worked out perfect.

It’s very lovely and lots of shady trees.

It was a shame the water ceased at about 6 Friday night. It was still off in the morning so I left at 7.30 am as I needed the toilet.

No hot water, shower kept leaking and TV wasn't working. Number given to contact if anything was wrong, did not do there job. I had spoken to the manger and was let down. I was not given reimburse as he said he was. Not a happy camper. We had left a list of all the thing wrong with it in room 24

I had a good stay. The room was cozy and bed was very comfortable. My husband stayed in our motorhome with our little dog and came in for a shower and a cup of tea. It was very convenient as we had a training session a few houses away.

Great experience overall! The staff at reception were lovely, the location was nice, and the basic cabin was a very comfortable living space with everything we needed. The shared facilities were great too, with plenty of kitchen space. Right by the beach too which is nice and very peaceful (we got a beautiful night's sky). Only stayed one night, but would have happily stayed longer!

It's quite a remote location, which is both good and bad. Depending on what you want, prepare to be out of the way of things - there is a shop a short drive away with everything you will probably need. If not, the nearest supermarket is about half an hour away (off the peninsula back onto the main island).

Stunning

My whole experience at this park was stunning. The staff are very friendly and always calls out hello, morning and have a great day. The cleanliness shows they have pride in this park and strong work ethics. The unit was warm and comfortable.

The was a little disturbance and I think the weather hindered my messages getting to Darlene however as soon as she got notification she addressed the situation very swiftly and professionally.

Exceptional

This is the third time I've stayed at Whatuwhiwhi Top 10 and just like the other times it's been amazing!!!! Such a beautiful place. All facilities are always so clean. The communal toilets, TV room & kitchen are spotless every time I've stayed. It literally has everything you need in one place. Laundry if you don't already have laundry facilities in your room. A fun area even for the kids to play with a nice park & a trampoline & thats just a few of the many things they have. The beach is also literally across the road & its breath taking. They have dvd's & boardgames you can hire for free from reception and the staff THE STAFF are always so lovely, polite & extra helpful. This specific stay I didn't realise they close at 5:30 and so I went to exchange our towels at about 8:35 & no one was there so I rang the after hours number and the receptionist come and changed the towels for us even though she had already left. I will ALWAYS 100% recommend to stay here if you are in the far north. Thank you!!

Ahhhhh, maybe my only downfall about my stay was that the sliding door was hard to lock but with a little jiggle it was fine. Everything else was perfect.
