The WiFi was very very slow. Some areas were not clean. See photo paper in shower 3 days not cleaned.

Wouldn’t recommend,very run down

The lady was lovely tho and made sure we could shower somewhere and answered the after hours phone and came straight to help .i would have liked some money back tho given we paid $190 for the night

We turned up after a massive few days at a tangi .when we got there the toilet was filthy .then went went to shower and no hot water at all so we had to go and shower in another cabin which was a pain as we have a small baby and not ideal i ended up boiling the jug to wash him in the sink ,i dont no why they wouldn’t of checked all this before we got there

Nice apartments

Hotels in Whangārei are about $200-$300 per night for a small room with no cooking facilities. Air BnB’s are about $300-$400 but, with a bit of privacy (usually). If you book the apartments here they have heaps of space, some privacy and all the facilities for a decent price. Close to town and the Raumanga falls is a 20 min walk.

That you can’t leave the camp ground after 11pm as they close the gates to the public, which is fair. Could park on the road or in the visitor area if you really need to leave at night.

Location was good. Affordable. Very quiet park. Staff very helpful.

Cabin smelled of insecticide. Sofa in cabin was old and filthy. Bedside tables covered in thick, sticky dirt. Utensil holder in kitchen was filthy.Room was grubby and dated. Cold water tap only in Kitchenette. Absolutely freezing at night but couldn’t leave heater on as concerned about safety.

Accommodation was very disappointing wouldn’t consider staying again

The only positive was the location it was close to the venues, locations that suited us

What can I say…in our self contained accommodation, only one towel and no dish cloth provided, had to request them Basin and shower dirty, cobwebs hanging from ceiling No microwave dishes. WIFI so erratic that we gave up Outside security light on 24/7 curtains ineffective

It’s cheaper than hotels and air BnB in the area and it has more space and privacy.

I stayed in one of the apartments (103) which had all the facilities I needed for the week including a washing machine. The beds were comfortable and it was quite private. The staff there were so nice and welcoming, thank you!

The smoke alarm was too sensitive that it picked up on the steam coming from the shower and it went off while I as in there however, staff were able to disable it for me.

The unit had everything I needed. The bed, linen and pillow were super comfy

There wasn't security windows in bathroom so couldn't leave them ajar at night or during the day. However currently being renovated so that may change

The pod we stayed in was very comfortable and big space. We were able to drop bags off early and the pod was well equipped with everything we needed.

Warm welcoming from staff. clean & comfortable. such a cute little apartment, we didn’t expect to have two queen beds which was a bonus.

The toilet seat was loose.
