Won’t be back, with girls on work visa’s working from rooms around us. Be warned.

Insulation between rooms

Didn’t like leaving the door open for fresh air and having Men wander in on myself and my wife looking for Summer. Summer worked and lived in room 6. Summer had many friends, they seemed to only be men. Summer had six visit her in one afternoon two of whom walked into our room. We did complain to the boss who of course had her on speed dial and sorted out her address for visitors. Lots of cameras around for the office to see what’s going on. Beware people, be warned. In response to your reply: the person we referred as “Summer” was because that is what the men who entered our room asked for. Also when I came to the office to complain, you immediately got your phone out with an “oh ok” not the computer, and by the time I got to the room, 20 meters away, Summer was ushering a man out of her room. With all the cameras to “keep us safe” you don’t see all the numerous vehicles pull-up outside her room all day and night, Yea Right lol.

The bed was too low for me to get off. I'm a large person, toilet space just a little small and there was a cockroach on the wall.

Disappointing - not worth what we paid.

The place looked okay but was dated. Had a room with single bed and queen bed as you entered place.

Found cockroachs and insects in room and bathroom. . Also wooly nightshade close to window so didn't help with allergies. Would've been good if bathroom was separate so didn't have to go through room when someone sleeping.

Value for money, close to Hospital and city centre

The location was great as we needed to travel to Whangarei Hospital. The price was good value. The bed was a bit hard for myself as i prefer softer mattress. Overall it was value for money and close to the city and Hospital.

A very enjoyable night in Whangarei!

The bed at cherry court was extremely comfortable and had a headboard! Room was very clean and well equipped. The owner was very helpful. Overall we were really happy with this motel, couldn't hear the road even though we were right on the busy road.

Parking was tight but least it was one way in one way out. Fill in the pool if your not going to replace the liner. The open hole was a bit of an eyesore, and a let down for younger guests

Excellent communication and very friendly customer service! Jowen was lovely and accommodating especially because we arrived quite late due to traffic delays. The room was SUPER clean, good size and well set out. Would book again.

This is good value - not luxury - so expectations should be for that level of accommodation. The staff are welcoming and friendly, The room was clean and comfortable and access and parking easy.

Cherry Court Motor Lodge was an absolutely perfect stay! The rooms were clean, tidy, and super comfortable. The staff were warm, friendly, and responded quickly to every question or request. We felt genuinely looked after and would definitely return — highly recommended!

Lots of other better motels to choose from.

Owner/manager charged me extra as I needed a room down stairs as I clearly have a disability.Shower was just a dribble and kitchen utensils and such were sparse and only had 2 little uht capsules for milk.Walls are obviously very thin as I could hear the neighbours during the day and night.

Ants in the kitchen, very uncomfy beds, towels smelled like they hadn't been dried properly, shower was dirty, no door on toilet (it had been removed), very noisy as right near motorway

Not a bad place to rest your heads

Had all the necessities we needed like a fully functional kitchen, toaster, microwave, kettle with standard selection of teas & coffees. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were mostly tidy and looked after. Location was handy to everything you needed and minutes from the wharf, restaurants, supermarkets etc. Massive thanks for letting us check in 30 minutes prior to check-in time (2pm) as we had a wedding to attend that started at the same time.

Rooms were a bit smaller than expected, I've paid less in Auckland City and got more. Mostly clean but found bits of hair here and there. Location was right next to the main road so had motorbike and truck noises all night.

The location was close to the hospital - At my request I was able to check in early - Thankful. Cosy room for the night - Warm and comfortable bed. Good air flow.

Traffic noise was intense until after peak hr. No kitchen sink to wash dishes, no choice but to use the bathroom basin [culturally inappropriate] - I take ownership for not doing my research.

It was a really comfortable and at a good price.

We could change our room on arrival to suit our needs to a better room. It was close to the city and whanau who lived there. We found the room really comfy so much so we didn't want to go out. We based our choice on the good reviews, and they did not disappoint, very true.

Just the bed was hard to sleep on after a while for my aunt who has hip problems. Not much we did not like.
