Far North Adventure.

Very relaxed environment not only the scenery but also our host and Other guest that were staying onsite.Our stay had that nostalgic feeling only with my wife and kids and not my Dad and siblings.Whaea Lou and Matua Tony are the real salt of the Earth people they were warm and inviting aswell as kind and accommodating to all us guest while catering for the locals that were stopping in as they used the boat landing site right next to the beach that was a hop,skip and a jump from the lodge.I would live there if I could this place in Karikari is awesome and yes I will go back again, thank you Whaea Lou and Matua Tony the trip was to entice my wife to see Far Far North and now she wants to come back with our larger tribe. You guys Rock and the kaimoana and local knowledge was very helpful until we meet again.

The location is fantastic! If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, then this is perfect. Lou and Tony are great hosts and want to ensure you are having a great stay. You feel like you've made new friends once you meet them. You've got a vast beach 50 metres from your location to watch the sunset from. Great place to chill!

Close to the beach. Had all the amenities needed. Tony and Louise are super nice, kind and helpful. Perfect place for a family to visit and enjoy the area. A nice quaint town. Great fishing. Actually got to see 2 pair of orca’s swimming. Pretty amazing!

We were given a large snapper by a fisherman. Landlord and landlady generous.

The location was mint. I, as the driver was very exhausted as we had early start every day and some quite late finishes. The car park and the entrance was so handy that the facility was so easy to get to. Loved every day there. Would definitely book there again.

I loved the Lockwood split level house, the balcony with the beautiful view and the flat white prepared by Tony or Lou. Such lovely hosts.

The Wifi wasn’t always working and generally there was bad phone reception. I should have just enjoyed the digital detox 😉

Best ever in the Far North!! A must stay with fantastic hosts :)

Everything was perfect …. Clean tidy and in a Perfect location. The host… Tony and Lou were the best hosts ever!!! They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed and more. Tony was always around helping us launch and retrieve Skis and that was so appreciated. His smoked fish wings were the best I’ve tasted!! Big thumbs up and we will most definitely stay again :)
