Our Pop's Place is a comfortable, quiet family bach situated on a large section within a safe and private subdivision. Spacious outdoor living, expansive views of Doubtless Bay and plenty of room for a game of cricket.

A short walk to the shops, close to the supermarket, fish and chips and great coffee.

A 5 minute drive to Mangonui, Cable Bay and Taipa beaches. Boat ramps - 10 mins away.

Whangaroa Golf Club and Carrington Golf Course (and vineyard) 20-30mins away.

Kerikeri 45mins away, Kaitaia 25mins away.

Special conditions:
Pop's Place is a smoke free environment.
No tents or pets thank you.

We absolutely enjoyed Pop's Place. The yard is big enough for us to enjoy good old kiwi games as a family (cricket and rugby). We loved the location. Quiet and private accommodation. So close to taipa bay where we indulged in fish and chips from the local and a day of swimming.

We were at Cable bay on a fishing trip. This place has everything you need with heaps of space to park your boat and clean your fish and boat and good for BBQs and relaxing. Awesome for a family as well. It is well priced and close to all the shops and gas station. Can’t rate it highly enough. This is our third stay and won’t be our last!

Pops Place is a great Home away from Home and my family and I enjoyed our 3 night stay with our only regret being that it was not long enough. Check in and check out directions easy to follow. Excellent location close the beach for swimming or for kids to play in the sand, fishing and diving. Close to shops with little supermarket, cafe, bakery, pharmacy and beauty salon.

We loved being able to stay near to the beautiful beaches of Northland in a comfortable bach at a good price. It was a nice surprise to find a kayak and other beach toys in the garage. It's about a 10 minute walk to the actual beach of Cooper's Beach though and part of the walk is along a busy road. There is no WiFi at the property so bring your home modem if you need this service.

We loved our stay. Everything was there that we needed. Check-in was easy. Heaps of room for our boat. The filleting station was a bonus. The fishing in the bay is excellent. Would definitely stay again.
