Dangerous apartments for a high price

We stayed in this area of Thessaloniki for the first and last night of our trip, for the first we slept in a beautiful apartment for almost the same price, so we expected a similar level from AniBo studios. But this option was good only in the photo, in reality it looks worse and staying there is dangerous for your health! What was ok: + Autonomous 24 hours check-in (they send you all instructions, everything is simple) + Despite the unpleasant street, this area is quite safe even at night, next to the main street with a bus stop to the airport, there are many cafes and small shops nearby + The room is spacious, some of the furniture is new, there is tea + a kettle and everything you need for washing in the shower and in the kitchen + Despite the curtain in the shower instead of a shower cabin, it was relatively convenient to use

- The worst thing is an unmarked stair in the corridor between room and bathroom, which my wife tripped over and seriously injured her leg - Guests can also get an electric shock, in many places the electrical wiring is not safe: wires stick out, and sockets fall off the wall - The room is smoky, although they try to mask this smell with an air freshener - The microwave oven was very old, the lamp near the bed didn’t work and there is only one nightstand (there is an empty space instead of the second, as if it was stolen), the door in the cramped bathroom hits the sink and can’t be completely open, the drain in the shower didn’t work well and we had to wash ourself standing in dirty water - The apartment seems ok, but if you look closely you can see a bad renovation which left a lot of old things: a rusty towel dryer, dirty ventilation, a hose for draining the washing machine sticks out of the wall (but there is no machine), holes in the walls, and the lighting in the kitchen is only one switch without wires and light - It feels like they don't think about their guests: a terrible shower with a curtain instead of a shower cabin; very thin pillows; in the kitchen there is only a hook without a towel; in the room, despite the presence of fastenings, there are no normal curtains (they also look like they were stolen), only thin tulle, which is not enough for privacy when the windows overlook another house on a narrow street - During our trip to Northern Greece we stayed in three other apartments and there was always water in the fridge, but here there was nothing - Only in this apartment the owner didn't ask for our documents and didn't offer to do self check-in. Seems like they don't register the guests here, very strange! - We didn't expect luxury for the low price, but believe me: for only 5€ more in the same area you can find wonderful apartments without any risk to your health.

Only a 10 minute walk to the centre. Airport bus stop is only 300m away.

Could have used an extra blanket for the cold. Otherwise all good and got to check in a couple of hours early.

I met my expectations

The highlight of my stay was the host’s behavior—very kind and understanding. Communication was easy, and she went easy to allowing me to check in early and check out late. Truly one of my best experiences renting accommodation. I highly recommend this clean studio and the owner of.

Pessimo!!

Nulla….forse solo la posizione

Inizio col dire che le foto su Booking sono poco veritiere; nelle scale e nell’appartamento c’è un odore fortissimo di fogna e acqua stagnante; ma la cosa più grave è che ci è stato affittato l’appartamento pur sapendo che in quello di sopra stanno effettuando lavori di ristrutturazione importanti tanto già dalla prima mattina siamo stati svegliati alle 7 da operai che lavorano di sopra! Il clou è stato dalle 8 quando hanno cominciato ad usare il martello pneumatico e il trapano tanto che non riuscivamo a sentirci mentre parlavamo! Siamo stati costretti ad uscire poco dopo e tornare la sera! Contattati i proprietari ci hanno detto di avere pazienza: ma se sai che ci sono lavori così importanti non puoi affittare il tuo appartamento!! Siamo stati costretti ad andarcene senza avere un rimborso nonostante averlo richiesto in maniera gentile! E comunque i proprietari ci hanno risposto solo dopo che li ha contattati il servizio clienti di Booking. P.s: sicuramente i lavori andranno avanti per mesi!! Super sconsigliato!

Apartamento simpático central.

Gostei muito da localização. Perto de tudo mas num bairro sossegado. Gostei da varanda onde estava fresco e podia tomar as refeições e ler/escrever. O frigorífico era silencioso, o que é raro. O ar condicionado bom e pouco barulhento. A TV com muitas opções incluindo rádio. Tinha tudo o que precisava no bairro: Supermercado, lavandaria e transportes na rua principal a 2 passos. Ou seja, senti-me em casa.

A bancada, os bancos e as prateleiras de cima dos armários são muito altas. Precisava de um banco com um degrau para lá chegar. Usei a cadeira mas não é facil quando se tem pouca mobilidade.

Πολύ βολική τοποθεσία.

Δεν υπήρχε κεντρική θέρμανση με ζεστό νερό. Το air-condition ήταν μη επαρκές για να ζεστάνει αυτό το μικρό χώρο και δεν υπήρχε θέρμανση στο μπάνιο. Το νερό ζεσταινοταν από ηλεκτρικό θερμοσίφωνα αλλά ήταν μικρός και το ζεστό νερό εξαντλούνταν πολύ γρήγορα πριν τελειώσει ένα άτομο το ντους του.
