Hostel Sunrise

El personal, los voluntarios, extraordinarios!!! La vista desde las terrazas del hostel muy linda. Todo limpio e impecable, cama cómoda, muy buen Wi-Fi, baños siempre limpios. La ubicación!!!

El acceso desde la entrada hacia el nivel principal, es muy largo y en subida, con muchas escaleras, si andas con maleta es difícil acceder. Me asignaron a un cuarto diferente al que había reservado. Si embargo, los voluntarios hicieron todo lo posible por ayudarme y hacer de mi estadía un agrado. Se esforzaron mucho en dar a los huéspedes lo mejor. Agradezco su disposición y buen servicio!!!

Fiquei hospedado apenas por algumas horas, para descanso antes de pegar o voo no dia seguinte. Consegui descansar bem em um quarto compartilhado, só tinha mais uma pessoa.

Muitas escadas para subir, não recomendo pra quem tenha dificuldades de mobilidade. Parece não ter estrutura de café da manhã servido, é no estilo hostel "cada um faz o seu". Não é uma reclamação, só estou informando mesmo. O motivo do 9 é que a cama de beliche é um pouco dura e pequena pra mim que sou alto. Mas com certeza voltaria para uma breve hospedagem.

Clean and the girls room was a nice layout.

Loved the mansion, location and the pool there. My bed was also really good. Natalia, from Porto Alegre, was also the nicest volunteer that made sure our stay was the best as possible. She gave us some recommendations for places to visit and things to do, which other volunteers did not know.

Staff and owner were not really organized in general and did not communicate breakfast/pool time and hostel politics to us right when we arrived. Breakfast buffet was too small, lacking food for the number of guests there. My Booking reservation was also not registered in the system which took a bit of a time for me to arrange myself in the room. Staff also did not make the bed for us – that was not such a big problem but it was weird to me as in every hostel I went before I arrived tired from the trip with at least my bed ready to be used. They forgot to give one of my friend's bed pillow and the staff took a lot of time to bring it to her too. Fortunately I stayed in a spot in the room where the air conditioner was good (me and my friends also paid extra for it) but one of my friends was a couple of meters from me and complained about the heat in her spot. Another friend also had her black shirt bleached due to drops of hygiene products on the bathroom sink. Towels that I did not used or asked for were charged in my bill during checkout but at the the end I did not pay for those (of course). Volunteers did not know tips on what to do when we stayed there – except for Natalia, from Porto Alegre <3. At least in other hostels I stayed before I was provided a book or a flyer on the hostel's recommendations such as spots to visit and parties to go.
