Not easy ro reach with Uber if you want to arrange your own transportarion, but a popular stop is located closeby.

A hidden gem atop Santa Teresa Hill

Beautifully renovated, brand-new villa, with a touch of French charm and chic. Stylish and spotless, surrounded by a lush garden with breathtaking views over the city, the ocean, and iconic mountains. The breakfast, prepared by a professional cook, is excellent, with freshly baked cakes, made-to-order eggs, and plenty of fresh fruit. The friendly, attentive and easygoing hosts make you feel like a truly dear guest. Thank you very much for my perfect stay in Rio!

Casa Roja is truly a special place.

We stayed there and had the best time — from the moment we arrived, you can feel how much love and intention has been poured into every single detail. The interior design is stunning, down to the smallest things: even the soap felt thoughtfully chosen, perfectly matching the tone and backdrop of the bathroom. Nothing feels accidental — everything is curated with such sensitivity and taste. The atmosphere is calm, warm, and inspiring, with a beautiful view. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the breakfast is absolutely delicious, and every morning felt like a small ritual to enjoy. What truly makes Casa Roja unforgettable, though, are the hosts. They are genuinely kind, present, and always willing to help. Hearing their story — how they arrived here and what they’re building — adds so much depth to the experience and makes the place feel alive and meaningful. Casa Roja is not just a stay, it’s a feeling. We left full of gratitude and already dreaming of coming back.

Perfect from start to finish !

Casa Rocha is ideally located in Santa Teresa for a quiet and peaceful stay. We particularly enjoyed being fully looked after by the two hosts, Lysandra and Corentin, a French-Brazilian couple who completely renovated the property and put great care into the décor and the quality of the amenities. It’s a truly premium experience from start to finish. The breakfast is worthy of a five-star hotel, with a wide range of options and a private cook who prepares your eggs exactly as you like them. The views from the rooms over Rio’s bay and the Pão de Açúcar are breathtaking. A total recommendation.

Conforto e tranquilidade.

A casa é perfeita. Um casarão de 100 anos, com uma restauração impecável feita pelo casal de franceses que adquiriram o imóvel. Extremo bom gosto, acomodação confortável e café da manhã delicioso. Anfitriões sensatos, simpáticos e amistosos. Gostamos muito e pretendemos retornar muito em breve.

Superbe séjour

Superbe maison avec une vue imprenable sur la baie. La chambre était spacieuse, même la douche offre une vue spectaculaire. On s'y sent comme à la maison avec un accueil familial et chaleureux. Les hôtes sont ultra dispo et peuvent vous aider pour vous faciliter le quotidien à Rio. Excellent petit déjeuner.

Fantastisch verblijf!!!

Het huis is net stijlvol gerenoveerd, alles is nieuw en prachtig. De locatie is fantastisch. Rustig gelegen en op loopafstand van leuke restaurantjes en kroegjes. Santa Teresa is een prachtige wijk, erg leuk om te verkennen. Met een Uber kun je van hieruit gemakkelijk Rio verkennen. De gastheer en dame zijn zeer behulpzaam en hebben leuke tips voor het verkennen van de stad. Last but not least, het ontbijt is fantastisch!!!

Como se hospedar na casa de bons amigos

Fomos muito bem recebidos pelo casal. Ponto alto para o restauro da casa, feito com primor e muito bom gosto. Um quarto lindo, espaçoso e confortável. Banheiro amplo e ducha excelente. Um café da manhã delicioso que aconteceu na belíssima cozinha da casa. A hospedagem combina informalidade e hospitalidade. Para quem gosta de se sentir em casa, é uma excelente opção. Voltaremos com certeza.

1- A propriedade é incrivel. Recentemente renovada, mas com charme historico, segura, e com uma vista para o Pao de Açucar que é incrivel 2- Café da manhã delicioso e com muita variedade. Foi com certeza o melhor bolo de laranja que ja comi 3- Como disse antes, a propriedade está localizada numa área super segura de Santa Tereza, com todo o charme do bairro e suas atrações Super recomendo e voltaria sempre.
