room a bit on the small size hotel very modern & good location in botafogo which is a lovely part of Rio all the staff were very professional & very helpful when needed any issues were resolved very quickly stayed @ yoo2 before & will return next year the pool is really small but the rooftop dining / drinking area far outweighs the small pool good wifi throughout the hotel

Considering Rio standards, this is a good hotel. The rooms are fairly modern, and the rest of the facilities are exactly what you would expect at this level. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Rio. The neighborhood was also very pleasant – much less touristy than Copacabana, which made the stay feel more authentic and relaxed.

With the price that youpay, it’s not worth. No slippers and necessary things needed in bathroom. 1st day my AC is not working been calling the recep but till my third call I gave up and told them to come back the dollowing day coz I was tired with the 18hrs flight.

The rooms are small but cute, with big windows and kept very clean. Breakfast was excellent in both quality and variety, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The highlight is the rooftop – the views are simply amazing.

Yoo2 Rio felt like our home for 12 days in Rio and simply enjoyed everything! I can say that our hotel room offers one of the best views in Rio! And what do I have to say about its hospitality service? The manager, Nathalia, greeted us warmly and her team promptly helped us with any request that we needed! Big thanks Nathalia, Larissa and Vanessa and her team at the restaurant. Overall, we loved our stay and all the amenities especially rooftop area!! Thank you Yoo2 Rio for a wonderful stay!

Larissa was a great help at the property! Her customer service skills and kindness are unmatched. The entire staff was extremely helpful. The cleaning team did a phenomenal job. As I said before, this is really one of those jewels of boutique five star hotels! I usually stay at the Copacabana Palace or Fairmont but from now on, I’ll keep staying at this one. Definitely worth it. And the view!

I greatly appreciated the spaciousness of the room and bathroom, as well as the stunning view of Praia de Botafogo and Sugarloaf Mountain The breakfast was exceptionally varied, featuring high-quality products. We traveled during Easter with my two children, aged 12 and 10, and my husband, and the hotel met our expectations. It was within walking distance to the beach, shopping mall, rodizio restaurants, fast food options, and a pharmacy, with just a 10-minute Uber ride to Copacabana and Ipanema. It's a charming boutique hotel.

The hotel is in a good location with views to Sugar Loaf mountain and Christ the Redeemer. Room very basic, lacking amenities such as shower gel. No bottled water provided but mini bar available for purchases. No coffee or tea making facility in the room. Wardrobe on the tiny side but ok for a short stay living out of a case. Make sure you have the hexagonal plug or adapter. The hotel were unable to offer an adapter.

This property is just okay, it leaves more to be desired. It is just a good place to rest however don’t expect super high end quality. It’s not renovated so it looks a bit old. The rooftop has solid food if you don’t want to venture out but of course it is a bit more expensive than if you do go outside which is expected. Massage was good I would advise you to take advantage of that here because it’s cheaper here than the other hotels.

Great hotel in Rio, especially for the value and location. Great views of iconic landmarks in Rio and the hotel is so convenient. The staff were great and responsive to all needs. I didn't use the spa amenities, but several of my friends did and raved about the services. My only gripe would be the occasional lapse in housekeeping, but honestly, even that was few and far between. I'd recommend Yoo2 and even stay here again.

Yoo2 is great for an in and out trip but some of the rooms like 1010 have great views but some like 1006 have very poor layout. Anyway, makes you feel like it depends on the room can determine how you enjoy your stay. I found it odd there isn’t tea and coffee in the room. You have to request for a kettle. It’s a little odd but the breakfast and amenities are decent

Meant I hardly slept my first night (party next door) and I kept having caterpillars, insects and worms like crawling in the room. The Expedia gold benefits were denied to me at check-in; had to keep chasing for drink vouchers and clearly no upgrade. Will go to Novotel on my next trip to Rio/Botafogo
