If you are a solo traveler it’s better not stay there.

it’s pretty and well taken care of

There is a lack of management - they charged me for consumption when the consumption was paid for. I was not refunded and I was also overcharged. And I had to go through booking.com to at least get my over payment back. It all has been very uncomfortable for me as I didn’t feel safe staying there. Not for the place itself but management is unbalanced.

The worse place we never been to.

Crowed place and dusty, my son couldn’t breathe and was coughing a lot after they put too much bleach I. The pool and the manager never warned us.

The owner is not professional at all. I had to call the cops on her because she’s not a coherent person. She begged me to stay there and then treated us like crap. Too bad she partners with a reputable company like booking.com.

the building is lovely, comfortable and clean. the staff were very nice, helpful and kind, especially Bruno. breakfast was also lovely. there are two gorgeous turtle who live at the hostel

They charged us $100 reals to store our backpacks for 4 hours (they wanted to charge $150 but we refused to pay this much). we have travelled all over South America and this is the first time we have ever been charged to store luggage, it’s really not acceptable especially as we paid £150 British pounds per night to stay here as it was over new year. this policy absolutely needs changing.

Very good breakfast. The owner and the staff are very inviting, so perfect for alone travelers who want to experience real Rio with Cariocas. Have a supermarket next door, and many restaurants on the street. The subway is a 5-10 minute walk as is the beach. Nice church close by, and walking distance to Orca and Praia Vermelho

The Botafogo beach is for exercising mostly since the water is dirty and there are a lot of boats in the bay.

O imóvel é até bonito, tanto onde fica a piscina, tanto o lugar onde tomamos café, porém, precisa de uma boa reforma.

A localidade é muito boa, apenas, o restante tanto o quarto (o vaso estava entupido), como o café da manhã são péssimos. Os anfitriões também não são simpáticos.

Boa escolha!

Todos os funcionários são extremamente educados e prestativos, ressalva para o Roco que foi com quem tivemos mais contato no horário, e a Tuxi tbm, sempre muito presente desde o primeiro momento e com agilidade na comunicação. A casa é bem localizada, bonita, limpa, cheirosa, super ventilada e confortável, e nosso quarto tinha uma varandinha. O mercado fica a poucos metros da acomodação. Servem um café da manhã que já está incluso nas diárias, já vem montado na bandeja, bem gostosinho.

L’emplacement est cool, un quartier avec pas mal de bons restaurants

En arrivant, notre chambre n’est pas faites, les draps sont sales, la chambre et la salle de bain aussi, pas de tapis de bain ni de serviettes. Chambre très très petite pour les valises et surtout pas d’eau chaude, et bruyant quand les gens discutent à la piscine sous notre fenêtre à 1h du matin. Personnel correct mais aucune excuse vis à vis des problèmes rencontrés ..
