Truly beautiful house in the heart of Santa Teresa. Exceptional host and delicious breakfast, with a view on the Corcovado.
It can be a bit loud during the night as the rooms are street facing. Thankfully, Maria Teresa provides the guests with some earplugs.

We couldn’t rate this stay any higher! Staying at Maria Teresa’s beautiful home was a unique, fun and vibrant experience that was unforgettable. We felt like part of the family, met fellow travellers from other parts of the world and ate a delicious breakfast each day. Whether you want to explore the fantastic neighbourhood of Santa Teresa or relax in a beautiful home and garden, we couldn’t recommend this stay more, especially if you’re looking for an authentic Brazilian experience.

Maria is an amazing and energetic host. The views from the place are stunning and you can see the Christ the Redeemer statue from the garden. We also enjoyed the BBQ area and the pool. Was a perfect secluded paradise during carnival. Complementary breakfast was also good. Would rate the stay 10/10!
The airconditioning was unfortunately not working one of the nights due to a power outage. Nothing within the control of the host however, but more regarding the reliability of the Santa Teresa municipality.

La maison est bien située dans le quartier de Santa Teresa et à un certain charme
En revanche la chambre est très petite sans meuble pour ranger ses affaires, très peu de prises pour recharger les appareils électriques et surtout très bruyante car elle donne directement sur la rue avec le passage incessant des véhicules toute la nuit
