Lack of daily room cleaning service, the facilities seems are under reparation everywhere, no good clean in common areas and the attendance is plain, seem the people doesnt have hospitality manners.

Horrible experience! Bugs infestation throughout the room. Hotel customer service is nonexistent. Staff was unwilling to solve the issue and we had to check out to find another hotel for accommodation.

When I first checked in to my room, all towels and soaps were used. Took them eight hours to give me fresh towels. Breakfast is very simple and limited if compared to other hotels of the same standard. Facilities are modern and well maintained staff were nice and helpful. However, cleaning staff let me down at the beginning of my stay.

The location was fairly convenient however the street was very narrow and often busy which made getting in and out of taxis and ubers a little hectic. I stayed here while attending a conference in Botafogo and this hotel is an excellent budget friendly utilitarian option if you’re going to be out all day.

This is the second time that I stayed here. The location is convenient and safe. The hotel is nice and the showers are nice. The reason I stayed again was I also liked having pão de queijo and the good breakfast selection. This time they did NOT have any pão de queijo at all and yes it's in Brazil. They had Mexican eggs =( I was there for 10 days. There is nothing wrong with the hotel itself but next time I will try a different hotel since there are so many in Rio.

I really liked this hotel! The room is small but clean and designed well. The breakfast buffet is quite nice. The staff and service personnel were very nice and helpful. I liked the hotel location as it allowed me to explore a more 'local' area instead of the more tourist situation in Copocabana. I would stay here again!

Perfect for travelers with a light load! Hotel room itself is teeny tiny. Perfect for a simple in and out but you will not want to spend much time in the room. It is similar to a state room on a cruise ship; Tiny. That being said, it's an amazing room for the price and they have a very nice setup so all spaces are utilized to cater to your needs... The hospitality at the front desk was exceptional! They were very helpful and very, very kind!

Book 1 night and then decide. The hotel is as pictured and lives up to it's name. The rooms are very small. The modern design ensures the basics are available. The challenge with this space saving model is the location of the AC unit. No matter how we tried to position it the air blew directly on the bed the first night. The rooms are all the same. The hotel staff did everything they could to adjust it the next day. Unfortunately, I had already begun down the path of becoming sick. The fact that we prepaid via Hotels.com meant that we could not check out early without losing our money. The hotel is located in the Flamengo neighborhood with pharmacies, cafes and laundry near by. You can to an Uber to reach Copacabana or Ipanema. We work while traveling which makes WiFI very important to us. Free WiFi is not common in this area. The WiFI is limited in the hotel. Outside of the hotel we were advised to go to a Starbucks. When providing service it's the little things that matter. Most of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. There are no printers available for guest use. Upon expressing the need to print our itinerary I was advised that the hotel would not print more than a couple of pages. Instead we would need to go to a print center. This would be the first time I've had this experience at a hotel. In my opinion printing a travel itinerary should not be a big deal at a hotel. So book 1 night and decide for yourself. There are plenty of hotels in the area.

Great value for a dollar! Clean, comfortable, amazing service and awesome breakfasts. The hotel is conveniently located to the subway allowing you easy access to the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, as well as sightseeing in the port area, Centro, or Urca. All staff speaks English and is super helpful. Overall it's a great option for your stay in Rio de Janeiro
